imperfection is perfection. take your time in self-improvement. Check out nikoyaps (@nikoyaps) and LowkeyMartin (@LowkeyMartinWasTaken) for similar Minecraft talk content, let's bring back OG RU-vid.
You know, hugging people who are about the same height is the best. 🖤 So, I bet you are a 100% perfect hugging match to someone. Also thank you for sharing. I try not to ramble too much, but oh myyy that journey of self-accept is so tough. Sometimes you are doing so well and then one little thing breaks it to the ground (not fully, but badly enough haha) and it feels like you need to build all that confidence from the start. But somehow, every time your base is a bit more solid. Ugh, but you still need to take care of it so that dust and mold doesn't slowly build up again, every day. Gladly friends will help you to keep on keeping on.
I love that. Everyday try and do 1 thing that improves your life just a little bit more. If it’s self-acceptance, it could be appreciating 1 part of your life everyday. Today let’s say it’s the way you talk with others. Tomorrow it could be the way you smile. Something and it will make a difference when you look back years later.
Hey there again! I’m glad you’re enjoying both the apex and Minecraft content! This bridge, I hope, can help us build an even cozier base outside. You’re awesome. Thank you! ❤️
Great video, I definitely compare myself to others all the time, it’s very easy to do. I’m 6’6 and 237 lbs, and even though that’s not like hugely overweight or anything, I always feel insecure because I have a bit of a belly and large legs. I also always worry about my hair, my clothing, etc. But, as you said, it’s important to realize that it’s okay to be different. (Obviously being overweight is unhealthy but I’m sure you understand what I mean.) I can think of all the times when I’ve panicked when some clothing I had stopped fitting, always thinking that it was due to me getting fatter. That might have been true sometimes, but I’m sure most of the time it’s been because I’ve just… grown. The biggest thing for me has always been that I allow myself to believe lies about myself. I often see things in the worst light they possibly can be seen in whenever they’re relating to my appearance, personality, etc. I am working on it though, and things like therapy and good friends have helped it a lot. But yeah, loved the video!
We’re often our own worst critics. Truly, there’s no one that can judge ourselves more than ourselves. This is because we scrutinize every little thing we can. But what’s important is that we have to realize that, most of the time, it’s only really us doing that! Most people don’t even notice that tiny little pimple on your face, or if you’ve gained a few pounds. However, it makes me really happy to hear that you’ve find healthy ways of coping with it through therapy and friends. You’re strong for seeking help, keep being a role model to others. Thank you for sharing! ❤️
@@SonyxApexGuides It’s always shocked me how much some of my friends care for me and how they don’t care about a lot of my insecurities. You’re 100% right that most people don’t notice stuff, or if they do they just don’t care
@@Mark-ie1go exactly! Think about you as a friend to someone and they were self-conscious about something. You most likely didn’t even notice and even if you did, did you care? Probably not!
@@SonyxApexGuides I’ve had times where friends have mentioned insecurities and I’ve just been like “huh? What? I didn’t even notice.” It’s definitely just a case of getting in your own head. Thanks for the video! I always enjoy your stuff haha
I love listening to you! great video even if i am an European i can relate to your story cause im not like that celebrities but i accually dont care about that, for me more important is knowledge and health. Thank you! Oh and i have tip for your minecraft, you can place 4 saplings in squere and then you will receve a big spruce tree with up to 120 logs!
I think I may just make a video on that soon where I chop down big trees like that and talk about growth. ❤️ nice seeing you again, hope you’re doing well my friend 🥹
@@SonyxApexGuides when i was younger i thought that Mordehai is really cool but after watching whole 8 seasons i think Rigby is better than him, but i wont tell he is my favorite cause for me not only one character matters but Park as a little society and that is what i miss after the final, not one character but The Park. What about you friend?
@@spunke glad you’re able to recognize it while you’re young! You’ll set yourself up for a lifetime of success once you learn to be happy in your own skin. It’s not easy, but it’s worth it my friend ❤️
good vid even though one thing i never understood is "take your time" like what do i do where do i start how do i get my life under controll more bc by saying im enough i stop my drive to better myslefe dont i ?
I see the dilemma there. Saying that you’re enough means you’re happy with who you are. It doesn’t necessarily mean that you should be content with just being the same forever. We all should grow and by saying “I’m enough” means that you’re not comparing yourself to other people and you have your own journey in life. You can still improve and be enough, they’re not opposites. Your first step is to ask yourself this: what tiny little thing can you do today that can improve your life just a little bit?
not a thing in this video that i can’t relate to. i’ve always had some kind of insecurity, sometimes with my appearance, my social status, and most of the time, my culture. i was often thinking that my culture was very boring and the language was too hard to learn. i was often teased by some of my friends due to not learning the language to it’s fullest. i’ve always wished to have a different culture, or that i would be born again but in a different body because of how much i despised my culture. growing up more and more, i started realizing that my culture is more unique, even though the cuisine is influenced by another culture, i tried giving myself a chance and really enjoyed it.
Wow. I resonated with your comment more than you’ll ever know. I, too, felt like a stranger in my own culture. Everyone embraced it, but at times, I’d feel embarrassed and wished I was more “this” or more “that.” It’s quite saddening. But growing up, you’re right, our culture is actually unique it just takes a different light and a shift in perspective to really understand how diversity is beautiful. Thank you for your comment. It captures exactly so many things I’ve felt in my life. I hope you’re doing well now. ❤️
How could there be perfection in a chaotic universe such as ours? There are a near uncountable combinations of the periodic elements and there are different forms and expressions of thoes combinations. Thats why we have such a varied universe, where every celestial body (while sometimes alike) are uniqe to some extent, and The same goes for life forms on Earth. The life forms on Earth is also very varied, not only in form but also in how they behave. This variation is however not due soley cuz of what they're made out of, but what adaptation worked best in the enviroment they're currenty located in. These adaptations are largely the result of seemly random mutations that often happens in reproduction. the mutations that happpend to increasse survival and/or reproductive likelyhood, tend to persist, becoming more adaptive as new and better versions of that mutation comes into existence. But heres the thing about evolution, traits to not need to be perfect to persist. They only need to be good enough. Traits aren't gonna evolve to become perfect, because it is not only unnecessary, it is also more trouble than its worth. It takes alot of energy and time to develop adaptation, so why should they evolved to become perfect when perfection is not necessery? especially on an every changing, imperfect world such as Earth? If the planet change then it would be adaptive for life to change with it. This is why life varies so across the world, and also why it have had so many forms through the millenia. The same goes for us, we are varied, not only in race but also as induvidials. So with this in mind, why should we strive for perfection when it isn't necessery? why should we strive for perfection when whats perfection in one area is imperfect in another? why should we strive for perfection when what it means to be perfect constantly changing? This utopia many so dream of, is never gonna be reached and thats because it doesn't exist, and our strive towards it would only lead to dystopia, which is where we're currently heading.
"So with this in mind, why should we strive for perfection when it isn't necessery? why should we strive for perfection when whats perfection in one area is imperfect in another?" IS A DAMN BEAUTIFUL STATEMENT. THANK YOU.
