Good to see Dorn out here with the canon facial hair. It's canon just trust me on this one. Ignore James Workshop telling you otherwise.

Dorn having a beard goes against his discipline. I don't understand why everyone is trying to force Dorn into having a beard when he never did and he looks better without. It also fits his personality better.

The bad thing about deep-strike though is the augury scanners can decimate whole squads cause each squad with the scanner gets to shoot as a reaction. Combined with return fire and over watch it can be very scary to have an army heavily reliant on deepstriking

return fire changed again (new faq since few days) ==> the shots are resolve at the same time. But i'm ok with you : augury scanners destroy deep strike strategies.

Yeah that's something I dislike as well. If you deep strike and your opponent has augury scanners, you're screwed. If they don't, they're screwed. Single unit deepstrike is generally not worth it as that one unit gets reactioned to hell, so you have to go all or nothing. It's very swingy which is something I find less fun.

I think the robots go boom when they die and melta-bombs have instant death which means no FNP. But thank you for the video and enjoy the holidays.

Just a quick one i noticed near the beginning, you can't roll feel no pain saves on an instant death attack (gravis melta cannon) being double toughness etc. Nice to see more Iron Warriors though :)

My group plays the deepstrike coherency issue with a gentleman's 6-inch limit from the original model, trying to make a circle. Otherwise it is too easily abused. Obviously bigger squads require more leeway, but its a little gamey how its written currently.

“Must take” options/units in a list are usually indicators of broken rules/under pointed units.

@@kurtl8425 Classic lack of not fully reading the parent comment. You are missing the "For anyone that can" part. Aug Scanners are great, if you have extra points to spend. If you have the points to upgrade units after picking your list my tactical opinion is artificer armor first, then melta bombs then Aug scanners, then vox then vex.

@@sturgeondtd9522 better example of not communicating your meaning. Nowhere did you indicate they are must takes, after you’ve bought everything else available to a unit. That doesn’t make them “must takes”. It makes them “take them if there is nothing left to spend points on”.

@@kurtl8425 and every army has access to them, so it isn't a problem. Broken things are only broken when one group has them, if everyone has it, it isn't broken, it is a must take.
