Episode 2: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-fceM-nlXnwk.html It's good to be back in one of my favorite games. I did a lot of research. Thought and work into creating Tomahawk. That's why I didn't post anything on these initial videos. I don't know if the Catachan that was added was a stealth reference to me. If it was it was rad as hell 🤙🏿🍻. Sorry I haven't been in a place to financially contribute to your Livelihood. It absolutely wrecks me. But if my comments and Likes actually makes a difference. I hope it does. Thank you for all the work you do, the kindness and support you show your community. And the respect of the medium of Roleplaying. It's truly one of a kind.
On one hand I love the death korp of krieg and their aesthetic and lore, but on the other hand I hate my soldiers dying in the game so I don't know how to feel considering the Death Korps specialty of sending themselves to die.
i love how you called the Tau Warrior "it" at 24:18 im sure that wasnt a contious decision which means you are a true servant of the emperor declaring the Xenos filth as "it" automaticly. very proud
You need a commissar to keep the Death Korp in check. Their role within the Korp is different to other regiments, often having to prevent them throwing away their lives pointlessly when they can be better used in future missions.
@VorTheRhino and somehow those commissars have a very high casualties rate mostly from "accidental" shots from behind their head. A very close shot at that.
Amazing to see the emperors finest taking the fight to the Xenos! Glory to Emperor!!! I don’t know if have already planed it, but having the commissar armed with a sword would be thematic, since we all know that the second thing all commissars love other than the Emperor is leading glorious charges in his name!
Glad I found your channel. I discovered this channel via Steam Workshop, as this mod collection is currently the most popular collection in the last 1 year.
This looks like it'll be an epic ride. Fingers crossed this LW mod handles the whole "Wounded v Fatigued" thing better than the LW mod in Enemy Within. Still cranky how a guy shot in the shoulder could be down for 3 days yet a guy who was entirely unwounded would be fatigued for 8.
Gonna be a lore nerd and mention that Kriegers are not suicidal. Its the cult of sacrifice. A Krieger gives his life not to end his suffering or as pennance. He gives his life in service of the Emperor. A krieger will not jump on a grenade he can evade. He will however jump on a grenade if two others will be injured by it. That's two fighting men at the cost of one. They don't charge gun lines because its an easy way to die. Its because you're expending their ammo, helping your brothers behind you reach the enemy position or so that you may exact a toll on the enemy. A Kriegsman does not die in vain. He dies to repay his debt to the Emperor
2:32 super excited to watch this video but I gotta get the nerd out of me quick, controversy to popular belief Kriegsman are actually super tactical and are one of, if not the most, tactical and disciplined Guardsman units out there and rarely waste life and "reckless" is the last thing that should be used to describe them. Anyways I know I'm being '"that guy" but I see this a lot and had to get it out there, I'll shut up now lol
Nah, you're not being that guy. I decided to lean into the meme. It's kind of like how I don't believe there is a written confirmed kill from a Kriegsman with a shovel. That's just a community fabrication.
I didn't know these mods were a thing! May the modding community be blessed by The Emperor's Light and thank you for the modlist. Time to reinstall XCOM2 I guess ;D
I remember my last Long War 2 playthrough on Legend, went for over 200+ hours, had to recruit like crazy because so many of my guys were getting hurt/killed from those tier 2 overwatch sentries, rocketeers, and gunners locking us down on evac missions. There was also so many of the enemies hitting shots with 3% chance (OR LOWER,) on my guys on a building like 3-4 floor higher than them, and AI even resorting to tossing grenades at just ONE guy, (my highest ranked of course.) One time a grenade landed under my guy's legs, blew up, and somehow missed, LOL.) Grenades NOT destroying cover/buildings also took some getting used to, since It was a built in cheese. I made the cardinal sin of skipping the GTS first, and by the time i got it I was already 5 KIA soldiers and 1 lost mission in. Even forgot i had to unlock the doom clock, (yes it had to be unlocked,) so imagine my shock when after I crushed the aliens one mission, I was met with the game over cutscene. (Pissed wasn't the word.) I felt like the technical class was a noob trap, (since its rockets could miss a targeted enemy or squad all together and alert them. You could spec into the flamethrower tree where it could shred and damage mecs, or even a large smokescreen, but damage was not its specialty until you hit the exo suits. I can only imagine how this mod becomes even tougher with WOTC's stamina system, which forces you to keep bringing in lower ranked troops because the better ones were exhausted. Can't wait to see this playthrough! Have fun, and play smart! 😁
If memory serves the Lucius Pattern No. 98 Lasgun is single shot... Tampering with the functionality of your weapon is a disciplinary offence. Please report to your Commissar for immediate execution.
OK, serious props to the voice actor who does the last loyal council member at the end of this video. He sounds like the epic voice guy from Honest Trailers. Can anyone confirm that? Anyway, looking forward to the next episode.
Now Xcom has been a while. Still recuperating after that monster of a final Episode the other day but nice to see you back in the grind bruh. Now to put some imperial boots into filthy xeno skulls. The Emperor protects.
Good evening! Thank you for the excellent content! I've been away from XCOM 2 for years but am going to try the 40k conversion. On that note, I subscribed to every mod you have listed in your collection, but I don't see the option to select the faction to start with. The first mission it's not the Tau but looks like original game OPFOR. I have every mod enabled. Any insights? Thank you!
Space marine doesn't feel nor they can feel fear because they are specifically designed to not be able to feel fear. Even so, their arrogance toward mortal human still made them join the forces of chaos. The death korps of krieg on the other hand, despite not being designed to be a super soldier or fearless like space marine, they still absolutly loyal to the empire. The proof? I still haven't seen or heard of a single Krieger defecting to chaos.
remember, kriegs aren't as suicidal as the memes led you to believe. when people say that they haven't retreated before. they meant they never retreat without order. if ordered to retreat, they will do so without any other questions. they are the most disciplined guardsmen in the imperium. so much so that when the commissar tells them to charge into their death, they'll happily do so. not cause they are suicidal, but because it was an order.
Just installed that modlist. Not being nitpicky but there are mods that overwrite each other (additional Icons and Unit Flag expanded for example), Secondary weaposn of LWOTC is not necessary since it is included in the main mod. Immersive Strategy layers does the same as instant avengers menu and more. Probably need to update the list ;)
@@SurrealBeliefs you shoulf also add savlar cham-dogs as well. Their criminal background (being a penal legion) plus their experties at chemical warfare and underground warfare would make an interesting character.
Someone should make a frieza force mod for this game. Imagine getting multiple versions of the map with each being a planet and you have to conquer it before you go on to the next
Is there something I've done wrong? I can't get past the first mission because my aim against the Tau and Advent is always 0% despite the Hit factors on the left giving me a different degree. That's not including the fact that I'm flanking squads when they're wide out in the middle of the street.
Jürten is pronounced "yoortən". That "xenos activity" banner needs corrected to "xeno activity" - use of the term 'xenos' is a misconception, as it's supposed to be "zee knows", the plural of xeno. And shouldn't those frags be stielhandgrenaten?
