I don't get how from the second the Republic becomes the Empire, all the officers have a sudden personality switch from the empathetic leadership they show within the Republic, to the absolute lack of empathy and sheer arrogance they display immediately. I wish we were shown why they suddenly have this attitude shift, Only Tarkin was shown to have these underlying qualities during the Clone Wars from what I remember.
They didnt explain how come that two lieutenants have authority over Marshal Commander (equivalent to Major General in real life) Cody and Commander (equivalent to Lieutenant Colonel) Mayday either.
@@Assassino275 im surprised cody and mayday listen to the orders from those 2 asshole lieutenants anyway even if they actually have authority over them. they could have executed them for disrespecting superior in the empire. doesnt make any sense. but i guess thats just some inconsistency created by the creator.
That's assuming most/all of the officers we see in the series were officers in the Republic. They could've simply been new people that the Empire hired because of their personality
Many imperial officers at this point were new, for example lieutenant Nolan who was on his first mission when he went to the outpost if I remember correctly
@@m.a.2633 they’re expendable. They’re meant to be in the eyes of the sith. They’re useful until Sidious or Vader decide they’re no longer seen as much
Can we have at least an affable Imperial officer who have compassion and sympathetic to clones, soldiers, as well as civilians. We kept seeing arrogant and cold Imperial officers keep mistreating people. I bet not all Imperial officers are bad and acting that way in this universe, much like in real world during WW2; you have German officer Karl Plagge and Japanese General Tadamichi Kuribayashi.
