That's not true. They told the prosecutors in that case that they wrongly charged the man with bribery when the crime he really committed was a gratuity. While similar in effect, these are two different legal crimes that cannot be interchangeably used. Bribery is paying someone up front for a political favor, while gratuity is doing someone a political favor for future profit. If the Court hadn't overturned that case, it would have severely messed up case law for future cases. The prosecutors are free to go back and bring the correct charges this time.
