It's why I didn't call it 'All Cruisers' etc because it was quite difficult to collate all of the information. I knew I would miss some out along the way.

Yes, the Nebulon-B was an interesting addition to this video which I didn't expect. I simply thought it had always been a general use ship the Rebel Alliance commondered for its fleet.

Strange... in most legends game i fight them on imperial side... so no their not ignored and all, their used. ANd especiel the Nebulon B2 saw extensive use

I noticed that too. 180m I recall. Looks quite different to the actual Imperial Customs Frigate which is much smaller.

@@weldonwin Alderaan was NOT a military target. There was no rebel base, the planet was peaceful, and it was a galactic cultural center. The closest thing to being a "military target" was the fact that many held rebel sympathies, but that does not justify the evaporation of a FUCKING PLANET and all of it's 4 billion citizens. Oh, and, may I remind you that Tarkin did not fire on Alderaan because it was a military target (which it wasn't), but as a show of force. The fact that you don't realize that means you probably haven't watched episode IV in a hot minute. There's also Jedha, which Tarkin had Krennic fire on for a test. Of course, that planet wasn't fully destroyed, but does that matter? And scariff... actually that one can be considered *somewhat* justifiable. And, on your point that Luke was a war criminal, guess who else was? That's right, Tarkin! As well as Palpatine, Vader, Thrawn, Rampart, [insert list of most high ranking imperial commanders here], you get the gist. And all of these were too a much larger degree. I don't think Luke blew up planets, exterminated entire sentient races, instigated an oppressive regime that was borderline fascist, etc.

Do you play Empire at War? An ISD should hold an entire Tie Fighter Wing of 6 Squadrons totaling 72.

@@ImperialsExplained I play " SW:Rebellion", so at least 3 Tie Defenders (12x3) and 3 Tie Interceptors (12x3). My Dreadnaught would have 1 squadron of Tie Bombers (12x1). BTW, yes, to answer your question, but my favorite game has always been "Rebellion."

@@undraftedboomer5055 No worries and thanks for the encouragement. I tend to do Legends because Canon is going in the wrong direction at the moment and diluting the old stories. However, the Andor series so far has very good SW to watch.

@ImperialsExplainedStarWars very much agreed. Andor is the only thing I have hope in. Literally, everything aside from Rogue One, Mando S1, and Andor is terrible. For me, worst of all was Kenobi. I refuse to believe that's what they did with McGregor and Christensen. Everything about that show is trash. Sorry for the rant lol, but yeah I agree with you man

To be fair Gozantis don't scream Empire either. You will just create an association with the Empire if they appeared more in their fleets.

I know what you mean. I was surprised the Empire in Legends had ever been covered and affiliated to them. The Nebulon-B was a surprise to me especially, however, it is covered in a source book I looked through.

I think that's actually the cost of the average space gyro on core worlds.

I agree with you as some of the source material varied due to what the vessels were covered by, for example, EU or Games, etc. However, l think it is always useful to add them into the overall Star Wars narrative.

Yes, I didn't know about that vessel before researching for this video. There were interesting and surprising discoveries in the list. I think I missied a few out though.

It has been mentioned before, but the sizes are pretty consistent across the board. Remember, some of these vessels were still very large and would easily hold thousands.

But when you consider the 72 tie fighters and ground forces us all the supplies? The dimensions of a tie fighter are 7.2m long 6.7m wide and 8.8m high. I love starwars but this has never sat right with me even when playing xwing in the late 1990's

I must say though I prefer Legends writing in most cases. Maybe sometimes there are too many types of craft etc but sometimes I feel Disney canon has re-written parts of the lore just to make it theirs.

@@ImperialsExplained perhaps I think both legends and canon are again other writers trying to add to what Lucas wrote and as far we know with George Lucas idea with the empire , it was easily destroyed after endor and only used a set line of technology and equipment I think I like canon's use of smaller vessels as seen in rebels or andor with the tractor beam ship but I love legends because of how amazing it is to get some cool imperial craft like the lancer which has become a favourite of mine in my thrawn's revenge empire of war mod as a star fighter screening vessel. I also do dislike how canon didn't do much with the idea of warlords post endor but I think George Lucas intended the empire to collapse right after palpatine died because of the special editions but legends writers or the 90s really didn't know this so they can't be blamed at all.

@@andrewperkin7192 The Warlords in Canon seem too sparse to me and agree Canon has missed an opportunity to tell the original story as it was intended. Instead, they appear to have watered down the idea that the Empire held huge territories with vast resources after Endor. Most of them weren't hiding from the New Republic like told in Canon.
