@@NickKhoo Excalibur lets you assign keyboard shortcuts to anything command or sequence of commands in Premiere, especially the ones that don't have regular shortcuts (and there's a ton that aren't given any regular way to access). It can also make shortcuts for commands that require user input, like scaling something. I have shortcut keys for every scaling increment between 10% and 100%. My favorite one is "Fill Frame", which is like Set to Frame Size, but unlike that one, if the dimensions are slightly off, and you'd get some black bars, it'll scale in the other dimension to make it fill the entire frame. And there's always people making mini macro-style sequences of commands to do specific repetitive things. Game changer.

Ahhh. My guess is that you made a new layer in illustrator, you didn’t highlight the layer and paste it. Instead you might have pasted it back onto the old layer.

@@NickKhoo I was looking into it a little more, it’s telling me that I can’t open continuously rasterized layers, after I created them into shape layers.. I’m super new to this! Could you help me with what that means?

@@caspermundo2986 In after effects? that's very weird. Are you using overlord to create shape layers?

@@NickKhoo I’m not sure what overlord is so probably not. Now I’m just facing when I open my illustrator file, the comp is just all black 😭😭😭 nothing shows up for me :(

@@caspermundo2986 when you import the file in After Effects are you importing as a composition or footage?
