From iOS13.2 and phone after iPhone XS, iPhone will pop out “Important battery message” if we replace a new battery on them. It appears not only on locking page, homepage, setting page, but also won’t show battery health data, such as maximum capacity, Peak performance Capability.

as far as I know, iCopy don't have the function of copy power and can't be copied. Better to have a replacement battery to repair battery problem, theoretically there are method to power on iphone but takes time and has risk.

After I connect the Apple BMS to a new battery, I find that the battery percentage changes randomly, does not increase in normal steps whilst charging (e.g 75% then 82% etc) and looses charge too quickly. Do you think the battery BMS needs to be 'calibrated' a few times by charging to 100% then fully discharging? Thanks

I think so. Bcuz new battery cell normally has higher capacity than old battery cell, which might led capacity data the motherboard detect different from the BMS old data. Actually we heard some users' feedback that: normally the capacity will show the old BMS data, after they replace a new battery cell, the BMS's capacity became higher. So let's see.

The theory is: 1- replace battery board to remove warning message; 2- install extension flex to revise battery data. If you just want to revise data, then Qianli or JC V1S could revise to fake battery data.

I have followed the video step by step. I've connected a genuine battery board to an aftermarket iphone 11 battery and connected a qianli extension flex to the genuine board. However, when I connect the battery to the Copy Power Device and click 'read data', I get an error message saying 'read failed'. I'm using the same software version as in your video. Also, when I test the battery in an Iphone11, the phone does not turn on. I'm certain my soldering is good and have not damaged the board. Could the problem be with the aftermarket battery I am using? Do apple battery boards work with all aftermarket batteries? Thanks

Hi Luke, maybe many possibilities, but aftermarket battery also works with this method, because it only provide power supply, have no data inside battery cell. And below are the steps I want to remind(if you are sure about solder and battery board): 1- qianli extension flex not 100% connected or flex damaged; 2- try to power on the iphone without extension flex, to see if the individual battery works; 3- check if the connector of Qianli copy power has damaged pins etc. 4- one critical step if you can read&revise battery data: install another non-genuine battery before install the new data-revised battery. @@rapidrepairsau Hi, yes the solution was very simple. I just had to connect the phone to a power source with a lightening/charging cable then it turned on. The battery was already charged as its brand new but I believe this 'activates' the battery somehow.

So for each replaced battery you need to add that small adapter into the phone ? .... Seems like the adapter is just "lying" to the system board about the battery status. So in theory you could just present a old battery as brand new :D.

Nope, bcuz you replace a new battery cell with 100% full capacity with just an old battery board, so with the adaptor you just "set" the capacity data to 100% just exact same as brand new battery cell.

Not quite sure, some battery were used too many years which led it shows "service". But if you revise the capacity data, maybe "service" disappear(we're not sure), but real capacity could be new battery cell capacity.

First of all, thanks for the video. The batteries of some brands/models of phones are not easy to find. Will it work if we buy a battery of another brand phone with compatible current values and remove the flex cable of the dead battery and attach it to the battery we just bought ? Hi Hasan, I'm not sure if it works or not, but try to bind battery cell and board which are with different brand means risk definitely, especially with parts like battery which provides power. And, actually there are many way to order this battery, check this Umidigi offical EU site: umidigi.eu/umidigi-f2-original-battery-5150-mah-en. Also you can search on Ebay, Aliexpress, Newegg etc, hope you find new battery asap.

Hey friend, "another battery" means "3rd battery", not the genuie battery or new aftermarket battery. 3rd battery was used just to activate pop up message, in the end we will use the new revised battery.

@@kaisha4355 If iPhone is iPhone 11 or newer generation, then it doesn't work. If it's older generation than iPhone 11, then it works to revise the data directly. However, the efficiency and cycle data revise is just revise the data, the real capacity doesn't change. The only way to resume REAL 100% capacity is replace with a new battery.

JC V1 wont' work, it's lower generation programmer. The Qianli is different programmer brand compared with JC, but they both works.

It looks like your using a qianli spot welder to weld the battery board to the battery cell. What setting have are you using 1-6? Also, I have tried welding the battery electrodes to the genuine battery board but am having problems getting the battery anode to fix to the board. The anode seems to be a softer metal than the cathode and the spot welder just burns a hold through it without welding it to the battery board. I've tried a lower welding intensity but it does not weld. I have an iphone 11. Would the welding be better if I were to weld the battery electrodes underneath the metal cover on the board as opposed to directly on top as shown in the video? Any tips would be welcome. Thanks

Yes you can, replace the genuine battery board on new battery cell is for removing non-genuine battery warning message.

With a new battery it will work. You can't restore health to a dying battery though. It may say 100% but only until it's charged again. It wouldn't be worth doing as a scam totally pointless.

Replace genuine battery board on new battery cell can remove battery warning message, but dont' need extra flex on iPXS. You can use just the JC V1SE or Qianli device to revise the battery capacity.

@Elekworld : there is no need to apply solder flux + paste on the original BMS board anode/cathode + solder nickel sheet before soldering to the new battery cell ? (like seen on this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-sjOCID0IN5g.html). Thank you
