I bought the course, and Have learned more in 3 months than I learned with others after 2 years. (Even Rosetta stone) Highly recommend it to anyone who wants to learn Spanish. Gracias Paul.
Love from "India" A great teacher you are, really your way of teaching very effective and very easy to understand. A big thanks from my heart. Gracias señor.
Thank you for this lesson. I eagerly await each lesson from you. I also am on level 15 on Duolingo and test out at an intermediate level, but I have a very long way to go. I am saving my pennies for your course because my long-term goal is 100 percent fluency in Spanish within two years. This is probably TMI, but I have had four back surgeries and I am in ill health, but when I learn Spanish it helps ease my pain and I envision myself in Spain on the beach one day. It really helps!
Your really make learning Spanish easy. I am taking my time in doing the lessons, and your Monday lessons plus the free mini-course are great. Eres un gran profesor.
If you in need of improving your Spanish, I recommend buying his lessons. Just save up your money b/c it worth it. I wasted time b/c I was going back and forth on if I needed to get it. Well, I should have just realized if the RU-vid videos made me feel more confident then the package would too.
Thanks for another great lesson Paul. 🙏 It’s good to see highlighted so clearly the different words for the same object depending on where we find ourselves. More of this please! 😊
Necesito ponoerme antes de salir. No puedo leer il libro sin ponoerme mi la gafas. Ahora necesito aprendo El Espanol todos los Dias. He estado estuiando por Una hora. Gracias por ayudarme Todo. Y hasta luego.
yes I have bought the course and have been though most of it at least once, the monday lessons are great and this monday was great lesson and very useful I plan on using these phrases right away ... keep up the great work!
Jeg er meget begejstret for dine lektioner. Og dine forklaringer er tydelige og letforståelige selv om det er på engelsk. Måske bestiller jeg hele programmet på et tidspunkt, men foreløbig er der rigelig ‘stof’ i mandags lektionerne. Endnu en gang tak fra en pensionist som har gå på mod.
When I'm in a better position to do so, I'll subscribe to the main course. Paul is excellent and very easy to listen to. His explanations are thorough and clear. I'm in my mid 60s and retention is becoming more and more difficult. I need to go over things time and again. Paul explains in terms that I understand and I find it easier to retain information! I do have a question: is it 'Hace calor'? or 'Hay calor'? I lived in Gibraltar many years ago, unfortunately I didn't learn Spanish at that time because I was working, and as Gibraltarians are bilingual English / Spanish, it was even more difficult... or rather it was easy to slip into English. But, I did pick some phrases up. In Gibraltar (Andaluz Spanish) we would use: Hace calor. BUT, perhaps Hay calor is used around the area of Mexico that Paul lives. PERO: Hay calor humano en mi familia. 'There is human warmth in my family'. BUT: Does the sentence refer to the jacket? Or the weather?
Chris J You are right to question why this & not that, how else will you learn the correct of saying things, I did not feel your question was to challenge Paul's ability in any way. Students always ask & check things out with tutors.
Chaqueta :-) En Guatamaya es CHUMPA ! :-) Just had to say. GREAT VIDEO as always. Glasses? Lentes, o gafas? No anteojos? :-) I am sorry, :-) trying to be funny.
Well. In Cuba we don’t use lentes , we use ESPEJUELOS. Those are the ones we use when we need them to read. We say GAFAS when we need them for protecting from the sunlight and we use LENTES whe we are referring to contact lenses and ANTEOJOS It is the device used for nearing far away objects. Like the ones used by pirates. I know we all speak Spanish but each area has its peculiarities.
“Anteojos” looks and sounds better than “anti ojos”. “Ante (before) ojos” is more logical than “anti (against) ojos” because we put them on in order to see and read better. 😊✌️✌️
Oh, I think I just answered myself- if you put “voy a” in front of nadar, that changes it to an action. In essence, you don’t have to have the -ing at the end. Correct?
Pretty much. "Voy nadando" means "I keep on swimming." In other words, it means that you actually ARE swimming at the moment and have been for some time. If all you mean is "I am going swimming" (that is, you're discussing future plans), you simply say "voy a nadar."
Calor is used when talking about the weather (hoy hace mucho calor) and when talking about the energy of matter (si quemas madera, se genera calor). Caliente, u use it when u are describing de temperature of a thing (esta taza de té esta muy caliente).
It is a really good video. But there is always 1 thing. Most of the time ur not saying to yourself " i need to take my watch of" instead ur always talking to someone else. Pls put that in ! :(
