Very informative vedio. Thank you very much. What I was thinking before this vedio was that electrical appliances should be bought from there because due to current Sri Lankan situation I thought they must be cheaper in UK. Can you please advise on that.
Thank you Umeja. Yes, you are right. It is very sad to admit that prices in Sri Lanka are rising fast every day compared to what they used to be. From our experience, it was way cheaper to buy electronics and clothes in Sri Lanka. But, it is not true anymore. Since we don't know the current electronic prices in Sri Lanka, I'll tell you the electronic prices in UK. So you can compare yourself. Prices may vary depending on your requirement. UK prices always include the government tax. * you'll get free Amazon Prime as a student. Since we came in middle of the pandemic, we bought all books, color pens, highlighers, rulers, stickers and tapes. They were far cheaper in Sri Lanka than in the UK back then. Unfortunately, I can't comment on current prices in Sri Lanka because I dont have up-to-date price information.

Hi Lakshika, Its 230V/50Hz electricity in UK. (Exactly similar to Sri Lanka). I don’t think that you need to bring the Induction cooker. Because, if you are renting a house, you might get kitchen appliances including Oven-cooker, Fridge-freezer, Washing machine & drier. Always check with your landlord before moving.
