The best & most informative video on UK student visa I have ever watched❤️. Thank you so much Sumudu & Indunil for all the effort & time given for making such valuable videos. I think this is my first time commenting on your YT channel, though I have contacted you in many ways. It was your channel which changed my mind to apply for UK universities by myself. This channel basically guided me to apply for the university & get an unconditional offer. All the videos are nicely presented in an attractive manner and do explain the process step by step. If anybody seeks information related to UK student visa, then this is the perfect place to stop & grab almost everything. A huge thanks to both of you for guiding lots of people who’re willing to come to UK 🫶🏻😍 Thumbs up for the upcoming contents 👍🏻. xx
This feedback is so nice and motivate us to do more. Thanks for your heartfelt comment. Wish you all the best for your visa process and journey to UK. Stay with us for more experience to be shared. ♡ Hope they will also helpful for beginners in UK.

I did my KIRA interview on 22nd of june. But still not received the results. So I didn't arrange yet my funds because of delaying results. I have palned to arrange fuds after receiving the results. ( As I know, the funds to be matured option is not compulsory to request the CAS in this intake ) CAS deadline is 19th August. So let me know ,have I any risk of this for my process ? What are the issues ?
Universities use different platforms to assess the “Genuine Intention to Study” of a student. Some universities use the Kira Talent platform for this purpose. Still, a real person should assess the candidate’s performance which will take a considerable time in this intake due to high number of applicants for each university. Regarding funds maturity, ideally you should be prepared to land UK on or around course start day. Consider your course start date, visa processing time (3 weeks in normal process), and 4 weeks of maturity period. In that sense, you should ideally deposit your money in an account atleast 7 weeks before your course start date. It is always better you deposit it sooner than later.
Yes you can apply yourself. Whole purpose of these videos is that. 😊 Source of funds. It was not even discussed in UK visa process before. But, in this intake, I heard an incidents that University of Sunderland asking for source of funds.
Thanks a lot. Very helpful guide. Don't you need to submit an SOP as part of the application? This is required for Canadian student visa. Someone who applied last year said its required but none of the video guides I looked at says its required.
No need of SOP. For UK, you'll answer a questionnaire called Genuine Intention for Studies. Plus, there is an interview process combined with this and the interview process will be slightly different by the institute. Some call them the "KIRA test" while other universities call them "GI interview". What ever the name, you will face a prerecorded or live interview where you will verbally answer for genuine intention. Other than that, you can submit a "cover letter" with your visa application where you can briefly explain everything to the visa officer who will process your application.
Hii… thank you for the wonderful informative video… could you please tell me which part of London does University Of Roehampton belong to ?(Inner London or Outer London) It would be a great help 🥺
Hi, If my uncle in USA is going to finance my PhD studies in UK, can you please explain the process? Can we provide his bank statements, without keeping money in the bank for 28 days?
Hi Akki valuable informative content. Akki, do we need to keep show money until we will receive our visa decision or can we take money from it after maturing it for 28 days and after getting the statements. Your response is highly appreciated
Hi Akki, Did you get the supportive services of vfs global like online payment assistance, form filling assistance, documents scanning, etc??? Or Did you do them all by yourselves???
Short answer: NO. Long answer: It is always adviced to have separate email for each applicant when you applying for student visa from Sri Lanka. This is mainly because, you need to use your email address and password to log into each application. Therefore, technically you can't have more than one active application from one email. (This is different from switching visa in UK where you will have only one application for whole family.)
Dayabara Sumudu saha Indunil, Godak Thanks me video ekata. Pahadiliva hemadema kiyala thiyanava. Oyaalage hema deyakma saarthaka venna wish karanava. Visa Process eke ona venne normal Passport size photosda ?Thanks a lot.
Thank you very much for your kind words Malinda. You dont need to take photos for the visa application process. When you visit the VFS centre to submit documents and biometrics, they will take your photos as well.
SOP is for Canada. I'll copy-paste the last comment I made for the same question below. No need for an SOP. You'll answer a questionnaire for the UK called Genuine Intention for Studies. Plus, there is an interview process combined with this and the interview process will be slightly different by the institute. Some call them the "KIRA test" while other universities call them "GI interview". Whatever the name, you will face a prerecorded or live interview where you will verbally answer with genuine intention. Other than that, you can submit a "cover letter" with your visa application where you can briefly explain everything to the visa officer who will process your application.
Thank you very much for the wonderful information. Can you let me know whether UK visa office accepts a financial statement from a registered Financial institution (like Softlogic Finance PLC, etc.) or should the financial statement be only from a bank?
It is always advisable to hold your finances in a licensed commercial bank. Don't risk your application. Most of the visa rejections that we have heard is due to the institute that you show funds.
Sorry, we are not familiar with that context to make a comment on availability, demand and sponsorship options. It seems there are many job opportunities on job sites for accounting & finance.
Hi Shalani, This is the video explaining the process: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-aRjgmR5iqyM.html Personally, we have faced the same issue. Try English as your preferred language. They don't have many Sinhala-speaking people there. Call them at 011-2031700 between working hours from 8:30am to 4:30pm on Monday to Friday. email: uktbappointmentssl@iom.int
Hi Lahiru, try to obtain a degree that you are most fassionate on. And it is always advisable to gain some experience in Sri Lanka related to the job iopportunity that you are targeting for. Generally, healthcare and IT sector jobs are in high demand.

Hi Iresha, Sorry, It's difficult to understand both of your sentences. I'll answer as I understand them. Canada visa refusal won't be a much burden if you disclose them properly. There are many cases that had Canada visa refusals but got the UK visa for a studentship. Initially, you will only pay the IHS for 1.5 years for a 1-year masters.
Contact the international team about available and upcoming scholarships. Scholarship options of Masters studies are limited and fulfilling fast. And you would get options depending on the subject area and your profile. Alternatively, have a look at Chevening scholarships here: www.chevening.org/scholarships/who-can-apply/eligibility/ Edit: You would get £2,000 international student discount when applying yourself.
Hi Kalum, The panel that has been appointed for your program would take the decision for you. Therefore, the time would totally depend on the university you applied and the program you applied.
Both have their own advantages and disadvantages. "MSc Cancer and Molecular Diagonstics" is more specific while "Msc Biotechnology" would be more broad when compared to each other. Broad subjects often give you broad job opportunities while specific subjects give you a strong competancy for the particular domain area.
One bed house would cost between £600 - £1000 depending on the city. Some are having affordable options while some are not.You can check with Rightmove Zoopla, Openrent etc websites based on the city that you are moving to
Hi Shaveen, Yes you can come for a (top up) program when you have satisfied entry requirements. You need to apply the university and secure an offer first.
