been to Goa from thrissur 2 times with car.one time through kannur kasargode-bangalore and the other one Selam-bangalore. Selam-bangalore road is much better.and regarding liquor we were able to bring back few bottles.you just have to know how to hide them ;) and for bonus we had a army officer with us so even if caught it was ok. Most important thing is have 2 or 3 guys who can drive otherwise its risky.The first time i alone drove up and down on one go.trip reading 2000 kms.and couldn't get up from bed for a week coz of tiredness.So do have guys who can drive so u get time to rest and also make sure your vehicle is in good condition & the paper works are up-to-date.and on the way if you feel like taking a nap always try to find a petrol station and park there.Swap driver at the first sign of sleepiness coz its easy to fall asleep as most of the road is 6 lane or 4 lane.So for those who are planning to have a road trip to Goa drive safe and drive smart.Have a Happy journey. :) Btw nice video sir. 👌

Rayin Ravi ur correct We had a trip to goa some ten years ago in my esteem Someone in our gang told that open bottle of feni they will allow to pass.Vechicle was stopped at excise checkpost Karnataka. They first taken the feni which was kept open then a tin beer one packet cigarette. In the office they asked 100 rupees as entry fee.I ask for recipt he said no recipt.Then the other officer came said about the feni then the secario changed .They asked 2000 after lot of bargains the amount come down to 500.They tharoughly checked the entire car even our bags.After the frisk we give the money they asked and drive away. The twist is that we moked the entire excise officers as we came home with 17 full bottle including one Black dog.. But i warn u all do not repeat this at home :) There was a hillarous situation that when we purchased booze they give this Orrisa pass by taking some amount.And same was with my friend. And when they are searching the car , he was lifting the pass and was asking that shall we show the pass If it was showed then the entire booze will be in their hand and they will ask a hefty amount and might be got jailed.Even after ten years the situation put smile on me as he was wispering Nangalude kaaiyil Pass undu Kettah. Any way good work.

I m planning to go to Bangalore by driving car from Cochin next month.... is there any issue related to tax when we go to Bangalore by driving private car from Kerala???? Do we have to show any documents at RTO Check post normally when we drive Non commercial cars???
