Importing Food into Canada | Safe Food for Canadians Regulations 

The Safe Food for Canadians Regulations (SFCR) will make our food system even safer by focusing on prevention and allowing for faster removal of unsafe food from the marketplace.
All food imported into Canada will be subject to the SFCR when the regulations come into force on January 15, 2019. Learn more about the requirements to import food: www.inspection.gc.ca/safefood
