Maybe he was hoping it would open up. I believe there are a lot of trees in the area. Still, no excuse for not having that roof manned/guarded. Local authorities might have screwed up, but SS still should have been constantly monitoring it. There were probably issues with radio communication between locals and feds.

From what I read they were actually looking further out and thought local law enforcement had the closer perimeter. So you see the rifle sniper readjust this set because it's closer than what his premature was. That's what I heard from my formal leader and Secret Service and they also stated that people that aren't the current president get a lesser package than a former president
Have yet to see a single interview with an “expert” who can shed any further light on any details whatsoever. Comment section does a better job. It should be easy for them to say what went wrong. @@meagainandagain5756 It's normal not to have nearby rooftops secured or being watched. The secret service admitted that the shooter was observed acting suspiciously 26 minutes before the shooting, but nobody bothered to question him.

I'm not discounting it, but Hanlon's razer could equally apply: Never attribute to malice that which can be adequately explained by incompetence. So far it seems that the Secret Service assigned that area to the local police to monitor, but then failed to ensure they were doing their jobs. I'm sure more information will come to light soon.

SS had internal security while cops had outside. Even the counter snipers who everyone says are SS had POLICE on their vests. They were cops. So SS believed they had limited scope and did not take full responsibility and you’ll see cops and SS blaming each other. Just heard a press conference from SS spokesperson who said outside the “perimeter” was not their jurisdiction. This is nonsense. SS should have made sure cops were doing their job. Breakdown of responsibility between them.

I higly doubt thats true. SSA have a shoot on sight ROE, no questions asked. My guess is they hesitated for a unknown reason, could be lack of training or something else.
Would Trump and his own security personnel have no say in who is providing security for his public appearances? Why have there been no questions about their conduct? Surely, they would have been more concerned with his safety than random individuals...
I don't understand why the gentleman on this gave such poor information and false information believe the media might be trying to create civil unrest If you are curious about what took place I can clarify this for you Donald Trump is a former president and a candidate therefore he receives what's considered a small Secret Service detail He will not be given a large Secret Service detail until he wins the Republican convention and becomes the official nominee next week People who are wondering why those buildings were not locked down simply don't understand that that only happens when you have a large Secret Service security detail and that is called sterilization They go in one before the nominee or the president arrives and they search every building multiple times a day they do background checks on every person working or living within the security zone and they shut the buildings down for 48 hours before the nominee president Arrives Those buildings outside of the rally stage area where the responsibility of the local police not the Secret Service As for the snipers on the roof people saying how could they not have seen the guy this is because they are assigned a specific area to watch which is the outer perimeter and it is between 400 and1200 m the kid with the gun was at 145 m and it's impossible for the sniper scope to see something that close This is why the kid was spotted and it came over to the radio that there was a breach of security you see the sniper raise his head from the scope to locate the target with his eyes because it would be impossible to find him with the scope The rest of the security detail did not turn towards the shooter once the gunfire started and this is because they are not supposed to they're supposed to continue watching their parameters to make sure there are not more attackers coming from other areas It takes a tremendous amount of discipline to somebody behind you is shooting at your friends your coworkers and your VIP protection detail But every single service agent responded the way they are supposed to win they were under attack It is troubling that this gentleman would sit here on TV and spread false information but I hope that that clarifies it for you and I hope you can spread this to others so that we can calm the speculation down Because in the end those Secret Service men every everyone of them was willing to die to protect their VIP And that takes a term this amount of courage and it's sad to see that fellow Americans simply because they don't understand what they are saying or quick to choose the worst possible view of these honorable men ✌️
Spectators tried to tell the cops there was a guy with a rifle climbing that roof. Some were even calling Crooks' name, telling him to come down. One cop went up, Crooks pointed the gun at him, and the cop ran away. What's up with that?

Someone told him when and where to be. Someone who knew the layout of the rally. A 20 year old does not have access to information that would give him confidence and opportunity to pull this off.
That's what was said on a different channel. The agent said he had him in his scope for 3 minutes. But was denied permission to shoot. Sounds like the insane rules of engagement our military has to follow.

There were 5 of them outside the car with no holsters or guns. I've never seen an all female crew standing outside the car and not a male agent anywhere to be seen when it left the area. And yes I agree not professional on guard or looking for other threats.

My theory. Nowadays governments track and know all your messages, emails, app activity etc. They noticed this guy planning something and simply allowed him to do it. They were closely watching where he wanted to position (google maps activity, and web), and left it open, not secured. Definitely few guys from SS were involved, and much bigger, and powerful individuals.
A 20 yr old with an AR15 with no military experience was able to shoot several rounds from 150 yards on a roof top baffles me. And they say Oswald wasn’t alone. Give me a break.

Then they hired some 20 year old kid, make sure he gets refused by the high school rifle team, pick him because he donated $15 to some small liberal group before he was registered as a Republican, but make sure he can access his dad's rifle, and then let him loose on the grounds the day of the rally to look suspicious at the entry gates. Then the investigators who were not in that meeting will come up with a story that makes sure that none of this gets discovered. Got it.

@@MarekKolenda-cr8vr a sniper and security expert actually was asked this on the PBD podcast… he said that in order to make a panel that large, and that strong would need to be really heavy … and it’s impractical for events. The simplest solution is to increase security and have a 1/2 mile perimeter secure, with all high buildings covered … that wasn’t followed here… but that is there protocol.
And "DRONES"!! With all of this technology we have today, you'd have thought any person with some common sense would have had "DRONES" flying around in that area!!
Apparently the shooter on that roof was seen and reported 26 minutes before he fired. How could the Secret Service sniper team not see him in 26 minutes? (They were able to kill him quickly so he must have been in direct line of sight from their position). What were they doing or did they ‘choose’ not to see him???
Well maybe they were warned about a shooter, but the video the SS sniper did seem to be aiming higher and thus further away until the shooter shot at which time the SS sniper was startled, then aimed far lower (and thus closer) and then shot back. I think it seemed like the SS sniper was looking further away and then only saw the shooter after the shots and realized he was much closer. I'm curious if the video looks that way to you too.

It broke my heart , on Saturday July 13, when shots rang out towards our former President. I was in fifth grade, at school, watching the t.v. as the motorcade carried President Kennedy. My brain is as vivid with those scenes today as it was then. I believe God does have His hand on Donald Trump and the USA. This country was founded on religious freedom and Christianity. Although we ARE a diverse country of people and religions, the bottom line is… God is King of Kings and Lord of Lords. So I make no apologies for believing God is in control of us and He hears the cries of His people. Don’t believe it… ask Moses if the Israelites were delivered? Pray Saints Pray.

You can count the rooftops with a line of sight on one hand. They're telling me that they didn't think to secure that rooftop with agents? You can't get into a sniping position when that position is already taken.
As massive as the question is of why it wasn't posted, that's only 1 millionth as massive as how did that person know that they could go up there and that it wouldn't be posted.
