You can probably beat 807 meters in a squad. Kidnap a sentinel soldier or wolf. Go somewhere flat. Have your friend hold onto the NPC. Keep plinking away till you hit them since your bullets can still hit targets past your visual range.
(Unsolicited advice) If spotted by an Azrael drone, if you can get to a tower: Get in, mine the doorway, get upstairs, & clear the tower of of normal enemies quickly. The Wolves chasing you will be forced uphill through a chokepoint where you have the high ground. Plus you'll be shielded from drones (so long as you stay in the stairwell. away from the tower windows). If there's no tower, any 2 story building can work. Stay away from windows, if possible. Mine any 2nd floor entryways where an enemy can sneak up on you (exterior stairwells & the like)... Barring that, a 1-story building. Barring all that? Run. Being out in the open is literally the worst idea...
👍. Got to love that climb/jump mechanic! Works sometimes. turn the marker on for the reds, mark them with the drone and move back checking your distance.
In Wildlands on Xbox the best way to get the longest kills was to actually go near the enemy and tag them, then walk backwards keeping them in your eyeline until you get far enough away. But you must keep them in your eyeline, past a certain distance if you let them out of your sight the would disappear!
I'm not sure how similar to Wildlands the rendering is but in wildlands the distance was under 600m for unmarked enemies to render in but you could aim at them and then walk backwards to get a bit further away. Or alternatively you could get someone to grab someone and hold them for you so they will always be rendered in and your bullets will be able to hit them. That's how some people get shots that are over about 1 km.
So the best way to do it without the help of another player is on the UAVs as they render in from further away I believe as they are a bigger object with less detail
This game forces you to use DMR's as semi ASR's basically and assault rifles or SMG's. They piss on shotguns minus the only stealth one and LMG's along with Snipers.
got 1200 meters kill some time ago with bugged Opheis MK1 helicopter aka "Carpet Bomber". Now I have fun with SC-40K (30 range + 30 accurancy) - 450+m headshot kills and Maxim 9 Echelon (30R + 30A) - 200+m HS kills....its like shooting with lasers :D Btw Zastava is best AA weapon...1 shot for Azrael and 2-3 shot on any Heli...very funny :D And Koblin is still my favorite machine killer...with Engineer class you can eat Behemoth for breakfest ;)
I suppose you could also use the drone to find someone standing near an explosive barrel and shoot the barrel from distance, but not are if that counts as an explosive kill.
If you aim at person while they are marked And back up with your sniper slowly while maintaining vision through your scope of theTarget you should be able to snipe at a much further distance
they have no excuse not to have every single weapon from wildlands in this game at launch, then adding more later. Ubisoft have become so greedy and devs are being fucked.
My longest kill came from shooting missiles into a wolf camp from a helicopter/ also try parking a heli on one of the silos in Klesco Fields and picking people off in bases.
My longest is 890. I believe it was a shot on a driver or gunner in a vehicle driving away. Used the TAC50, no suppressor, Gunslinger, Ballistic & Rolling Thunder perks. 👌🏼Great videos WP keep them coming.
My longest shot is 901m, using the specialty sniper weapon, and it was completely luck, matched with marking using the drone on maximum magnification. There is a base, in a logged out area, with a point of interest cabin very far away. It has two sniper towers, however, and long distance shots help if you have a captive enemy, like a sniper....
On PS4 visibility drops off about 450-500m. Wildlands definitely had better visibility range distance of 600-700m easily. My range states 800m also, not sure how that is. 🤔
You may have to do something similar to what Darkdally done on Wildlands, on co-op have a friend grab an enemy then work your way back Believe darkdally’s longest kill on Wildlands was 3km
get it on sale and make friends play with you through friend pass if they dont have it. its fun but difficulty will get ridicously hard depending on it. recommend taking a tactical approach in missions and playing in immersive mode
I think the super long range kill stuff happens when you rocket someone from a chopper, or ding a drone or chopper from afar. I don’t know if laying a mine then running over a click away counts.
I bump to the same problem myself. I think the sistem count chopper (when you riding you chopper) kills as your longest kills too. It do not specify if it is sniping or not.
That problem you had of respawning in that area to hack the computer, it’s the same one I had. And also those people were coming at you because you activated the second mission, to hack the terminal. And yes that faction mission is absolute shit!!!
And you literally did everything the way I did it. And I died so many times that the game bugged out and they only sent in a heli but it wasn’t meant to be there so yeah. FUCK THIS MISSION!!!
I’m betting PC has much better render distance compared to console, meaning you can see an enemy further away. Makes me wonder if people who play on PC in cross-play games(Ex.- COD Warzone) have a significant advantage.
I think the 800+ kill isn’t a shot. Maybe it was say and enemy in a vehicle or something. Maybe some c4 on it he drives you leave area but blow it up?🤷🏻♂️
@WillyB There's a video by Day Zero Gaming He managed to get a kill (in coop btw) at 3.5km!! He also explains the setup, so you might be able to try and beat your record with a mate in coop
This is the problem SSDs of next gen consoles will fix.. imagine 2km long render distances with this level of graphics.. then we can finally use authentic 40x sniper scopes..
Mine currently is 864m (it says on my char), don't remember where I was. But I'm thinking it could be at the top of skell dam and to the person at the helipad that I tagged with my drone. he was still visible thru my scope.
Same thing happened to you. You just died so many times that the game bugged out and sort of helped you too and even for me after the mission ended, those sentinels showed up.
I tried to kill a behemoth with my helicopter while trying to fly as fas as possible from it. As soon as I pass the 600 meters the behemoth disappears. Sometimes tried from like 700 m without it seeing me, it triggered a missile against me. It can see you but you can't see them. Not fair by Ubisoft. Design is not accurate
I hate sniping in this game even though I loved it in woodlands because the bullet ballistics are so weird and the bullet makes the effect of hitting the ground before it's shown hitting the ground.
