A chance to see something very different, a mass ascent of huge hot air balloons soaring into the early morning sky at the Midland Air festival 2019.
Watch the balloons being prepared for flight, being cold filled, and then the awesome sight of the hot air gas burners blasting red hot air into the balloon envelope causing the craft to rise vertically into the air.
Many special shaped balloons are featured here including a coke bottle and various animals from lions to flying pigs
