Great interview segment. I’ve met Eric before and I love how intrigued he is about the arts. He always seems to ask the right questions and Tina was great at breaking it down
Yeah that could probably work ! I reckon Tina Fey is giving us "effective" improv tricks, so that you take fewer risks and feel more comfortable while doing it.
I believe I heard Tina Fey say that although men appreciate women with smarts, they don’t want to sleep with them, they want to sleep with Megan Fox. I beg to differ.....
Help! I don't understand " We're not married is a denial. We've learnt our first improv lesson ". What does improv lesson do to prove that they are married ?
Tina is saying that he should have gone with the premise that they are married. She created the background of them being married, and he should have continued with it.
You can acknowledge that the question shows someone else’s viewpoint. “I understand that you’re labeling me and I can explain why your accusations are illogical.”
no, that's what she explained in this video. Once you say no, you have killed the other persons fantasy, as well as the scene the audience had in their heads. Now there is no situation, and she feels put out. Why do u wanna make it out like she's in the wrong so bad
She said that they had a wedding anniversary, and he said they weren't married. If divorces didn't exist, that would have been a denial. She could have just said "We may not be married anymore, but our anniversary still means something to me. If you didn't pull a gun on me every time we argued, I never would have left you." What he did wasn't a denial. But her calling him senile would have been. Declaring that the other character is crazy means that the other person cannot contribute anything to the scene, because anything they say will be met with "Nothing you say is real because you are crazy."
