I usually don’t go out of my way to leave comments. I got a new car and new Sony headphones and thought they both just had bad speakers…. After doing these things my car speakers and headphones RIP and they’re LOUD. This video is VERY helpful. BLESS YOU SIR!!!!!!
Dang. Already a massive difference with the mids and bass. I use AirPod Pros which aren’t known for being very bassy. So this is stellar. I always avoided high-res lossless because I thought I needed an external Dac for that
@@forfun4540No, lossless isn’t compatible with any Bluetooth headsets. What we basically listen to is high quality. U’d need a DAC adapter with a wired headset to be able to listen to lossless. For example Apple’s £20/$20 wired earphones with the 3.5mm dongle they have as a DAC adapter would get u lossless audio. Or a speaker that would support it like the HomePods. The AirPods Pro 2nd gen (USB-C version - not lightning version) does support lossless with the new Apple’s Lossless Audio Codec (ALAC) they designed but that’s only limited to the Vision Pro, so it’s still useless (for now, hopefully).
@@forfun4540no, if you want hi res lossless 24bit 192kHz you need some extremely high end headphones and an external dac, even with all the equipment people don’t understand that only a select few people exist who can physically tell the difference. Airpods can only play music at high quality so save your storage and change it to that
@@torpeytech I do, they a good set of back scratching talons haha but they would be great use to play guitar . Awesome picking fingers 👍🏼 thanks for the vid, I had no idea there was an EQ setting on my iPhone 😊
To be honest songs are already equalized in the studio to get their unique sound. If you want to hear the song at its best you should keep the EQ flat. Try using high quality Sony headphones with a flat EQ and those high res lossless settings he suggested and it will sound great. With bad quality speakers or headphones you can EQ it all you want its not going to sound good.
@@calebwhite6173 Apple dongle is perfectly fine since it sounds neutral and has no background noise. If you want something better in terms of sound stage etc, Tempotec Sonata bad pro is a great option but in general with DACs, you get a small improvement in terms of sound for the money you spend. If you're trying to get the best sound quality for the money, get a better pair of IEMs or headphones. If you can afford both, then a more expensive dongle DAC makes sense. But in general: Transductor (Speaker, headphones or IEM) before DAC.
I just want to thank you so much, I’ve been wondering for so long as to why iPad music quality sounds better than my IPhone, and trying for so long to get my iPhone to sound like that and now it sounds just as, if not better than my iPad. Thank. You. So. Much, omg thank you😭😭😭
Thank you I use Sennheiser momentum for Bluetooth headphones when I listen to my music and I always wondered why the music volume was never as loud as the actual phone volume I use voiceover cause I’m blind and I would have to turn my volume up to around 90% just to have decent volume I did not know there would be a huge difference between Hi-Rez lossless and simply lossless so I did your suggestions I went in and turned on Hi-Rez, even though it says you have to have the external back now my volume almost completely matches the actual volume and will get much louder louder than I needed to get but now I don’t have to turn it up, almost all the way to get good volume Thank you so much for these tips
So, if I understand correctly, Dolby Atmos is designed for surround sound speakers, and not for headphones, or AirPods or whatever. So it’s best to leave that off unless you are plugged into surround sound setup.
You're the man!!! ♥️💯🤙 I've had apple music since 2015 and all of a sudden my downloaded songs got lower. I thought it was a safety update but it wasnt. Thank you so much ♥️💯🤙
Tbh, sometimes with the dolby atmos, the songs have been mixed differently so some song will have mistakes in the sounds, effects, lyrics. Idk if im the only one noticing this but i don’t think dolby atmos has reached a stable point yet
Same and you right, if there is just one mistake when they Create the file we hear it so bad, anyway dolby is not supposed to be for 5.1 (the last part I'm really wondering not sure about my knowledges anymore😢😢😢)
if i already downloaded my playlist with dolby atmos settings turned on and quality set to lossless (not hi-res lossless) then i turned off dolby atmos setting. should it configure automatically or should i erase and re download those playlist to make changes?
THANK YOU SO MUCH BROOOOIOOI I LITERALLY LOVE YOU I WAS WONDERING WHY MY MUSIC SOUNDED SO LOW QUALITY WHEN I LISTENED TO IT ON MY PHONE COMPARED TO MY FRIENDS PHONE BRUH
Settings I use are keep Dolby atmos off. Streaming is lossless. Headphone accommodations are tune brightness to strong. Keep mono audio off. EQ is off as well. Turn on spatial audio to fixed if you have gen 3 AirPods or AirPods Pro gen 2. In my opinion, the best sound experience :)
“Me who accidentally removed all of my music from my playlist but still remembering every single song cause I listened to it like 1m+ times and putting it back in the exact same order as before so I trick myself into thinking it never happened
Hi-res sound only works with audio interface and top notch headphones. This not for common people or daily use. It's for music producers. Those are the raw files that recorded in the studio. Bluetooth headphones or aux cable are not capable to play those files. So stick to high quality. Or if you have wired headphones set it in lossless.
these are the settings to turn on mono audio eq has to be flat or late night turn off Dolby atmos Headphone Accommodations have brightness or vocal range at strong thank me later
1. None of this will help with bluetooth. 2. The more audio filtering aka Atmos and EQ, will cause the audio to be more compressed. 3. Your selection of songs will not play as a ringtone or alarm if you use lossless.
Apple themselves say Bluetooth connections aren’t lossless. In the lossless setting in the blue print called. About lossless audio. You can use atmos over Bluetooth but not lossless. You will need a dac and amp for that. So half of this information is wrong. Also if you are downloading the music you don’t have to turn off anything because it’s already downloaded, so no bandwidth is being used.
Just turn on the “sound check” option trust me u will not regret it since these settings reduces the volume of the music, but when this option is enabled it will enhance the audio quality while keeping the volume moderately high
First off all lossless and hi res lossless only work when you got a DAC doesn’t work wirelessly. So people who are not using a dac , High quality should be the max . 1:13

Dude, you should study more before creating content. Not even AirPods Pro 2 or AirPods Max support lossless audio format. It only takes the songs take longer to load
Does anybody know why the crossfade feature does not work with Mac OS Ventura? I recall it worked with Monterey and Big Sur but with Mac Ventura the music crossfade feature does not work😡
no no no Bluetooth does not work with lossless your car speaker will not play lossless cause bluetooth need to be updated to play lossess in order to play lossless you need wired head phones
These settings only work if you are using the crappy ios music app. It does not work if your using other name brand paid music apps or non apple branded headphones or anything non apple.
Ha, ha, ha you do this for external dac, not for bluetooth...The codec for apple îs aac low quality one...The quality remains the same on your bluetooth devices, apple not do bluetooth lossless sound.
