Us peasants just use the framing module lol.

Haha, it's a good point, but the problem with the framing module is that you cannot see the white border when you zoom in, a feature which is useful in the color checking tool if you want to see the white border surrounding a small part of your image. Also, the framing module is a bit slower to activate. But yes, that was my solution too before I found this way of adjusting the size of the border. The advantage of the framing border is you can use a black border, however.
