An important tip. The closer you can get this to the antenna, the better. I had one on my tuner and while it improved things, I still had quality issues from time to time. It finally got bad enough that I decided to move the filter to the attic and put it directly on the antenna. This made a huge difference. I now run one on my antenna and one on the tuner. This weakens the signal for distant stations but I got 69 channels before and still get 65 channels.

Channel Master and others state that it DOES NOT reduce signal power. How can you lose some stations?

@@haroldreyes7549 because these filters often block US bands, even those sold in Europe. For example, the n71 600 MHz band which is used for 5G in America is still used for DVB-T2 in Europe. And also, these filters are basically relatively simple band pass filters. These filters aren‘t perfect and also worsen the signal outside of their range.
