Recenlty I've heard something like: "We're so anxious to be together". I thought it meant "we're afraid to be together" but then I checked some dictionaries and found the true meaning - "wanting to do something or wanting something to happen"

The story about a kingdom in exchange for something reminds me the situation of my first year at university failing two subjects final exams, I can't remember Who I deal with before that time, but was clear when my profesor told me I had a bad exchange the same you said: a kingdom for something cheaper. Nowadays I still have nothing.
