What a delicious little tune this is! It’s a lot of fun to be learning to play it. I’m an octogenarian and have diminished eyesight, so it takes me a little while to learn a piece since I have to memorize it. But I figure, what else do I have to do with my life! Thanks, Marco. Your musical creativity is very appreciated. I think I speak for many who follow you and love what you’re doing!
I bought a Ukulele as my first instrument. Learnt 4-5 of chords, 3-4 songs. Soon, it became stale and I started losing interest. Came across your channel and fell in love with Uke all over again. Much love from India❤️
Thankyou. This is fantastic for a beginner: you get a melody, practise chords, left hand and right hand - and a bit of theory. And your teaching style makes the whole lesson so simple to follow.
could you do a couple of videos about explaining music theory with ukulele? From basics to more complex things... I think it would really help to level up ours skills 😂 Pretty please 💖
Wow, Marco! Mind blown 🤯 What an impressive exercise/chord progression/performance piece! Can't wait to try it out when I get home. Thank you for the comprehensive teaching you do in your videos. They're so good, I don't always need the tabs but I'm glad I'm a patreon so I have access to them 🙂
Hello Marco, You are always amazing improvising new technique , Please create some videos on theory of music and guide us to create our own melodic chord progressions using simple chords for beginners. Thank you.
Very wonderful. Can't wait to catch on to this one. Plus back to the ukulele. Digging the baritone. Have a wonderful beautiful day Marco, and thank you for your time and your talent. It is not wasted. 😎💙👍
Merci beaucoup. I'm glad you're including note names in your descriptions now. I'm trying to learn the Rule of the Octave on my tenor and baritone. Funny thing is that it's the same but just shifted in the Circle of Fifths.
This is really lovely. I'm new to uke and to your website so I may have missed a lesson or two on technique. For example, the very first note of the melody (the C chord) continues to ring out when you move to the next two notes on the next string. But if I look closely you seem to move your thumb down to stop it ringing. Is this a technique you've talked about previously on another lesson and if so could you direct me to it? Thanks. hi marco great videos. just one question. you see, im just started learning to play the uke. before this, i played the guitar. the question is, how do i remove my tendency to start and end with my thumb when plucking the uke?
Hi Pablo. I am still struggling with the same thing sometimes. The thing that helped me was to practice patters that don’t necessarily start with the thumb so that you can slowly break the habit. Good luck, ☀️🎸
Really nice Thank you. What do you think about making a ”Chan Chan ” video. I know there are a lot already, but with your way of explaining and finger picking technique it could be great to see you make your own version, and good practice for us :) Keep on sling great vids! Thanks
Could you also please do Slow Dancing in a Burning Room by John Mayer? The riff in the song is to die forr. Btw thank you so much for these tutorials, I like the way you teach, I am really learning so much from you
@@MarcoCirilloUkulele oh okay, i'm sorry, please do more of your tutorials then? I have had my uke for almost 3 years now and have recently lost the will to play it but after watching your videos, I fell in love with my uke all over again, thank you so much for that❤
Sound nice but sound similiar to another one of your rhythms. Can you teach something different then your usual types of rythms. Bc I do enjoy your tutorials thi
Did I do something similar? This is weird because I always check my videos before I create something new just to make sure I don’t post something similar 🎸
Marco, i have found nothing but joy in your presentations. If others don’t, that’s their issue to work out. You are an excellent teacher, and I’m grateful for what I’m learning from you!
