Thank you so much, loved your explanation and I was very pleased, because despite being self-taught in these matters, (I've been knitting and crocheting for many years) this is exactly what I did to my husband's sweater (which he liked a lot) but it had a wide waistband and cuffs..... I take this opportunity to say that i used this method to adjust the crochet waist of shorts that I made for my 3 granddaughters this summer. Flawless!. Love your tutorials!!

Thank you! Saved for future reference, like when I’m working in a shawl (hmmm, or a cardigan w stripes…!). If I’m making a shawl & using a larger needle (looser fabric), cutting & weaving in ends doesn’t always look the best. This technique is perfect! And bonus tip w I-cord edges! Perfect!
