as an 8th gen fanatec, heres my 2 cents. mind you, i take a very functional and purposeful approach to building 8th gens. i track my own si coupe. change stock clutch master cylinder to em1 or em2 cmc change tranny fluid to redline mtl or amsoil synchromesh (i use redline) adjust the ride hieght so your rear is a tad bit higher than the front, this will help with oversteer. around -1.5 camber rear, around -2.2-3 for the front depending on how the car will be used and tire width you dont need to touch sway bars, but if you do, just rear should be enough to have this car rotate. for brakes you can run 04-08 acura tsx front caliper. still a single piston, but you have a thicker rotor, much bigger pad and caliper. hawk pads, 5.1 fluid for engine you can revert to stock intake or a hybrid racing cold air. i bought a k&n and regret it. too much heatsoak flashpro to tune and get rid of rev hang this setup would be budget friendly, and an absolute track monster if youre really a function freak, stick with the stock shifter box. i hate the added effort needed to shift with my hybrid racing short shifter especially when on a track
@@subaruej2079 you could get away with only adjusting the stock cmc, but if you decide to run a even a stage 1 clutch, the plastic internals can’t handle the heavier pressure plate
get a 76mm skunk2 exhaust some bc coilovers & all the suspension goodies & you will really see it come to life also get a thicker performance rear swaybar it will help alot.
if you still have this car... battery relocation kits is 100 and moves the intake away from manifold just three bolts perfect for the cai or short ram tyo get rid of that hot air intake
For the headlights, why is it that I don't have to go underneath my 8th gen si coupe, to get to the bulbs? For the driver side which is a bit more process, just pull out your reservoir tank, and you'll be able to access your bulbs. Maybe hand size has something to do with it, although I don't have baby hands, 🤷♂️ I don't know.

@@StephenBrewer89 yes sir. i love it. i did have to trim like 1 cm off the rod(youll see it when you get it) which is no problem with a sremmel or a shaver.. make sure everythings tight and it gold.......i have gotten the ebay shifter and the acuity bushings and she rides so much better! its worht not paying the 3-400 bucks on acuity
@@TheSeacretNINJA that’s good to hear! I had a TWM on my 2011 FG2 I bought new but I guess they are no longer a company. Ans yeah I paid like 400 for it and base bushings. I want tighter, but don’t know that I need the high dollar acuity or hybrid shifter. It’s not like I plan to show it off because I am going to run my shift boot unlike a lot of others that don’t now days.
@@StephenBrewer89 the company is called nonstop tuning!!! i installed a wooden katana handle off ebay and wood burned a dragon into it with the stock boot. i get complimnts everytime i go through the drive through... at first it was just for me but more and more people notice it and like it so it makes me smile. you never know haha i for sure didnt expect anyone to even notice. i think its cool in maybe a race car but i find oem plus much more tastefull
also anyone else that drives the car say at a shop or one of your friends will deff notice and give you props... ive been told people like my clutch lmfao which is ebay aswell and also my exhaust which is skunk and plm XD
