No lie this dude and his info is off the fucking hook! Love your videos brotha keep it up!!! I have never owned a Honda but I can definitely respect the amount of effort and dedication mil takes for his vids
I don’t own a Honda yet but from all of these build videos etc I’ve been watching fantasizing over the years I’ve never seen this amount of information dropped like you have done it. I’ve bookmarked this for future me!
Got my Hondata Flashpro today, uploaded basic MAF tune on my 9thgen Si Sedan. Your vid helped a ton, thanks again and looking forward to this build.Definitely best first mod and bang for the buck.
(Update* Jan28 can anybody help a bro out? Mil is mia?) Which tune do I choose if I have a CAI, downpipe, and catback? Do I have to calibrate anything or are the pretunes for full bolts on ready to go? I see the ones that are on there but they are different brand bolt ons from what I have does it matter? Any help is appreciated!
@@milanmastracci it’s a big learning curve doing everything myself but the knowledge is amazing. Tuning with nick actually gave me some advice adjusting fuel too! Cheers from Chicago!
Heya ! Been a while I commented one of your vids, but man haha I'm getting a used Flashpro tomorrow from a cl7 tsx for my 2009 tsx:) I'll need to get a custom tune for my ecu cuz stock maps for the 04-07 TSX k24a2 are different from the k24z3 :0 wont be plug and play but for 500 cad can't complain
Blew my expectations Milan! Mad respect brother, now I know what to get for my birthday we have the same car. Ans so far your milmast method is stuck in me.
I have an 8th gen, non SI that im gonna build for a fun daily. From what i gather its the same ECU as the SI is this true? Probably should get eyes on my ECU and put the number in on Hondata website
So you get to learn more and more, and constantly have the best setup each time you have a new setup. If a car is constantly changing, you'll be constantly tuning anyways. So🤷🏼♂️
Hey, i didn’t understand what you said about the a lighter flywheel and i did the same that you did, but now im having a misfire even when i put it back on stock ecu. And the car is going into limp mode. What should i do?
Hey Milan, I have a 9th gen sedan and I just want to keep it as close to stock, maybe just a catback and short ram intake for mods..Do I still need this Flashpro? If so, with the mods im planning, what type of gains can i make if i get this Flashpro? Thanks in advance.
When he was doing the launch. "Not double clutching, granny shifting" My 9th grinds 1-2 in launches if you don't double clutch. And I was scared for this man's transmission
Ugh oh!! This thing shifts like butter, a bit better than the transmission I had in my accord too. If I ever have to replace the synchros, I'll be sure to make a video regarding it 👍
Don't have the SI but I have the EX and my first upgrade was an injen cold air intake. Always been the first upgrade I do with any sports car but maybe I'm missing the order up. I'm really looking forward to flashing my car now. So much potential that I'm missing out on.
Just a FYI, with a light weight flywheel you can keep your knock sensor active you and use it but you may get a few false knock counts, but you do have to turn off misfire detection otherwise it’ll throw you into limp mode.
It happened to me bro, i didn’t understand that step and i did the following steps but i got into limp mode, i tried to reset the car nack to stock ecu but i still have the problem with the car going into limp mode, what should i do? I did the thing of turning off the misfire detection but if i want to putvit back to stock im having the same issue… can u help me please?
Question for anyone who has done this. I have a 2020 Civic Si Coupe and I ordered the Hondata FlashPro to disable the rev hang in my car. This is my first time doing this. I have no experience with it. Do you need to install one of the base maps from the Hondata or can you just disable the rev hang without actually using one of the base maps on the car? I don't want to do anything else. I just want to get rid of the rev hang. Thanks.
Hello im new to in depth honda building, i have unfortunately got stuck with someones project and inherited all the problems they could not figure out... for starters i need to get another ecu for my 98 b20b swapped civic and the b series harness cause they never changed the old d series one,.. my question is when i get another p75 do i go with the flashpro route?, or get the s300 i am on a budget... thanks in advance
@milanmastracci your vid is definitely awesome. I have an old EG3 Civic converted to a K247 with stock ECU/CEL/Fuseboxes fro a CIvic si 2012-2015, and I'm getting error codes regarding VSA/EPS since in my civic i don't wanna use the eps/brake modules from the Civic si 2012. Do you know if i can bypass both the errors via flashpro? my biggest fear is i could eventually disable some of them on the CEL, but not on the I-MID. Do you know if flashpro is able to completely remove these warnings?
Good content. 2006 Civic Si. If I swap only the block and head from K24A and transfer everything from K20Z3 over and keep 100% stock, which tune is best for my car? Thanks
Great video. I’m a total newb looking to flash my 21 RDX. Is there anything I can do that would brick my car? I’ve found someone selling an unlocked Flashpro for 19+ RDX. What should I look for?
Hi.. my car have hondata flashpro and already tuned by the previous owner.. currently VTEC turns on at rpm 4.8k rpm which is for me it's too early.. can I simply change to rpm 5.5k rpm.. do I need to re-tune the AFR?
@@milanmastracci THNAKS for the response. But yeah bro it’s was crazy because I had put it at 3300 and it was launching at 5,000 it even was showing the vtec light yellow when launching. Then I flashed the ecu again with 4000 launch and it worked lol.idk I did everything right and actually that tune u gave us in this video it’s amazing bro I even felt the different from the stock flash to yours lol
ive taken all the steps for my windows computer and when i plug my hondata via usb i only have 1 of 4 checks (driver) only. Ive done everything and hondata service reps are shitty they havent helped. any suggestions? my car is idling to the high 2-3k rpms and if i dont reset the tune im screwed and cant drive it!
My cruise control controls arent working to adjust the rpm at which the launch control sets at. I tried with the cruise control light, on dash, on and off. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
Do you have to jailbreak your ecu? I’ve seen so many different things I’m unsure. Some say yes some say no and on hondata website it says no need to modify your ecu so surely you don’t gotta jailbreak it right?
Thank you for explaining the steps so thoroughly and putting them in JOSH terms. Greatly appreciate you. I liked and subbed. Joshua C. 2014 Civic SI Coupe AKA SNIVIC
I try it to do it but the check engine and the steering wheel lights came up, i think it’s about i got the stock wheel, how can i turn off the knocking control??
i am going to get hondata soon and i have a pc, thing is do i need a really long cable from my pc to my car or am i gonna have to get a laptop ? sorry if dumb question but i really need help with this since i seen you need to have hondata plug to a computer and the vehicle
So I have a 2013 civic si, everything stock. I want to upgrade some things on it for sure. If I do get hondata will I be able to use everything in this video exactly without screwing up my car?
Could you do a follow up video about the app? I just got it for mine and Im just curious why there are 2 Coolant Temperatures? They are both reading different numbers so im very confused, and Coolant Temperature 2 is what my Rad Fan kicks in with, but I have no idea what the Coolant Temp 1 is for? I noticed there is no Oil Temp gauge available... is this actually the oil temp? im confused lol
In the section where you showed how to adjust Vtec - can you leave both of the Vtec adjustments the same to have that classic hard crossover like you would without Hondata?
Nice video! Never really seen a hondata walkthrough. I've been lurking for a while and didn't realize you were from Ontario until I saw the accord on marketplace
Yeah buddy! Fellow Ontarian checking in 😂 There wasn't too much info for how to set it up and use it, so I figured I'd get familiar with the software and do it myself 👍
If you care about the screen and ability to use it on different platforms other than your CU2, I would get the KTuner, if you want the best tune and most features, Hondata is the way to go 👍
I have a question. Can you flash the car back to stock? For example on leases. Probably not a good idea but my question is can you flash it back to stock and will there still be a way for them to know that the car has been flashed previously hence no point on flashing the vehicle then. I am sure everyone wants to know this question if you are leasing.
You sure can! You can modify your car, put a tune on it, drive it, enjoy it, flash the ECU back to stock, remove the mods, and sell it without anyone knowing. The only thing that will reset with each flash is the Ignition Cycle Count. So on a normal car, it will be in the hundreds, if not thousands after a certain amount of time. When you flash it, it will bring that number back down to zero, and if a tech were to see that your car has 100k miles but only 5 ignition cycles, they will know it was flashed. To get around it, you can key-off to key-on-engine-off a bunch of times to rack up that count. Hope that helps!
Yes you can for sure! If you do plan on upgrading it hardware-wise, I would suggest installing everything all at once, and then getting a pro tune so the engine is running right. Hope this helps 👍
Recently discovered your channel as I will be getting a 9thGen Si soon. Thanks for the great videos so far. I do have a question. I noticed that with your Si you started with Ktuned and than switched to Hondata. What was the reasons for this?
