Except if you get not dented animals for DDs and BBs once you focus on DDs the other side inevitably loses. Especially if there is 2, max 3 DDs. Once you clear one side from enemy DDs , it will fold. All while you do your thing. But these days there is soo many sub-ape level "players" is in DDs and BBs... You spot radar cruiser just behind corner and half enemy team being able to shoot in the cap...and DD then YOLO in for no fk reason.

Yep, when the enemy team feeds them CVs can do a lot of damage - just like a battleship. Only, battleship replays with 300k damage and 100k spotting are entirely skill, right?

@@aetius9 For 300k BB game you need to be positioned well, you need to correctly anticipate what enemies will do to get the right angles, you need to be able to isolate fights and cover your side from other flanks, you need to aim shots many times 14s+ flight time and communicating with your team helps a lot. It takes big amount of experience to get to such level of understanding the game and gameplay. While CVs get some need for optimisation of weapons and target selections, you are basically free to choose your target and your attempt of crossfiring it. With planes YOU are the one choosing and angle of attack right before you want to strike (no need for good positioning), noone can strike your ship back if you are not bad and most ships have little impact on your strike effectivity besides rng. It is not fun to play against at all merely due to very limited options of counterplay. This game´s core is still "ships with guns/torps fighting each other", CVs ended this type of combat by being OP by default; no wonder they don´t fit well in this game.

That kind of damage requires SERIOUS misplays from enemy team

What you can't see is that everyone, including the person who said it, were laughing their asses off in chat. What he said made little sense when every game I played that day enemy just ran away, and his advice was "kite them" xD Kite them how bro, they're just running away xDDD

They ain't crappy, these have a very high Firechance and deadly Alpha on DDs. Setting Fires is one of the best things to farm dmg and in pressurize the DC

In addition to the other points, a drop from far out (and skip bombers aiming for the final skip are pretty far out) preserves planes for later.
