This session will discuss common issues that caregivers face and strategies for caregivers to help themselves and their loved ones with brain tumors. It is well documented that having a brain tumor not only impacts the patient, but the patient’s whole family. Providing care for someone with a brain tumor can have both positive and negative impacts on one’s physical and mental health as well as quality of life. This interactive webinar is presented by Margaretta S. Page, RN, MS, the nurse coordinator from the University of California San Francisco Neuro-Oncology Gordon Murray Caregiver Program. Margaretta will offer a look into what it means to be a caregiver and some strategies to promote strength and success in the role. This webinar includes an interactive Q&A session with caregiver expert and neuro-oncology nurse Margaretta Page.
