It seems you're an expert just because of the results these kids show almost immediately!! very good work and I'm gonna try this for sure to get better at spiking
I definitely don't hit hard enough and don't snap the ball downwards. I'll be practicing these drills to improve my spike. Thank you for the excellent video!
I'm a guy and i think guys don't learn how to snap because we usually jump high enough to just hit downwards, i really find this video useful beacuse i didn't learned no snap until recently and it has definitely changed the angles on my spikes, and snapping really make your hits more deceiving. Thanks for the video !!!!
I love this video and how you explained a proper snap. I'm 5'9 and played indoor through high school and college as a middle. I currently play sand 4's on a men's net and feel like it is impossible for me to find a consistent approach/timing/contact (I hit my wrist a lot). I know I also have an awful habit of running under the ball. I would love to see a video (or comment) about how you would tackle finding a consistent swing as a women hitting on a men's net in the sand.
Hey, I also play sand. If you haven't already, I would look into the difference in the jump between court and sand. In court you broad jump, and I'm sand you jump vertically. This difference causes a lot of indoor players to be under the ball.
Can't wait to try this with some of my hitters tomorrow. I have private lessons with 12 yr olds and 16 yr olds. Love the way you break down the skill! Thank you!
Si, golpea con la mano abiertaaunque conducts con la Palma de la mano certainly de los nudillos e intents tocar la parte posterior 3/4 de la pelota rodando hasta la parte superior de lapelota.
@@liuzeyuan yes, the faster your elbow goes, the faster the ball comes off your hand. Just make sure the elbow goes in front of your face and hand drops behind head.
@@my5 hand drops behind head you mean when i pull like the nike thing right? also by elbow goes in front of my face, the key is elbow high? or not vertical like 90 degree but say 75degree?
@@my5 So during the actual flexion of the wrist, which is during contact the wrist is truly not loose is that correct? How would you describe the part of contact in regards to flexion. Absolutely love your video. Great job!
