@@4lpina Thank you so much! Energy is exactly the word that best expresses the feeling I had when I had the chance to test this patch live, during an event in Milan at the end of June. @@4lpina Well, broadly speaking, my passion for music was born in the early 90s when, after some time spent recording dance tracks taken from the radio on tape, together with my father I went to buy my first DJ setup (Audilaza mixer and Gemini and Technics turntables) I still remember the first records purchased (Rhythm Is a Dancer by Snap! and Check it out by Slim / G. Dewindt) and it was an immediate symbiosis. Time passed and after several years dedicated to buying records for compilations (finally with complete tracks and not brutally interrupted when the speaker's voice appears 😂) and after a few evenings around the suburbs of Milan, in 2016 I decided, for pure personal enrichment, to attend a course for Electronic Music Producer at the Sae in Milan. Thanks to it I had the pleasure of meeting extremely prepared teachers and passionate about the world of Ableton and sound synthesis, as well as discovering the strong attraction for the latter. That was actually the first opportunity to try real synthesizers, an occasion that revealed the preference for physical encoders over digital ones. I created some tracks with DAW for the pleasure of testing the topics learned but that feeling of experimentation, of physical reality, of connection, given by the physical synthesizers used in the course, brought my curiosity to the inevitable next stage, that of modular synths. After some time I decided to open the Instagram page and the RU-vid channel to share, through my personal journey, the passion for sound synthesis. A journey that in one of its stages allowed me to meet and become part of the beautiful community of @milanomodulare that I thank for all the events I had the opportunity to participate in. I apologize if I have been long-winded and I hope you are not bored. When I started writing the answer I did not think I would have taken such a deep dive into my past and if you have arrived to the end I thank you for the time dedicated to me and for the memories unlocked 🙏🏻😊

@@MO.MU_modularmusic Thanks for sharing your story! And no need to apologize, very much appreciate you sharing this! Sounds awesome and I can see that you have a feeling for making electronic music. I subscribed to your Insta as well, and find this very inspiring. I have modular myself but as someone who has no past experience on making electronic it's pretty hard to make anything musical of any reasonable length. So I am using your jams to get inspiration and learn this myself, especially transitions/drops/etc. :)

Knowing that this can be a source of inspiration is already a huge achievement for me, especially if it manages to excite those like you who have already had experience with these systems. Thanks again for the support 😊🙏🏻 Small spoiler, I'm working on the creation of a new format that can help both those who already have experience with modules and those who would like to approach this world. I think the project will see the light in autumn/winter, after achieving a personal result. @@biswajitborah8067 Hi! Thank you for your comment. In this setup the effects come from the Erica Synths pico Dsp and the Monsoon from After later Audio. The main effect I use in this patch for the Build up or break down phases is given by the Monsoon. Below is the patch: I exit the oscillator and enter the vca. I exit the vca and enter the Monsoon. Using the Addac Manual Gate I activate the envelope with which I modulate 3 parameters of the Monsoon (wet, feedback and reverb), attenuated by the relative encoders on the module. In this way I can decide whether to play with the latter individually or whether to activate them all together giving that fading effect useful for passing between the rhythmic and timbre variations. However, I recommend memorizing the positions of the encoders when modulated via envelope to avoid them exceeding (especially the feedback), so remember to bring the 3 attenuators of the Monsoon back to the preset levels before pressing the trigger. HI! Thanks for the question, it could be a great starting point for discussion. Yes, I confirm that all sounds come from the setup you see. with a view to creating a portable system for live performances, I set myself the goal of a 7 U, 104 HP system (plus a row that I created to insert the multiplier modules). I inserted 3 oscillators, one for the bassline, one for the leads and one for the noises (but using the Befaco Plethora, made up of 3 sound generators, I got to 5). All controlled by Alm's Pro Workout and Vermona's Meodicer stochastic pattern generator. Effects, envelopes, mixers, attenuators and Manual gates/latches, to control everything. I will test this setup live on 06/29 during the event at Cascina Torchiera in Milan, organized by our MilanoModulare community.
