Such a natural style of teaching based on years of hard work and experience is a rare gift to come across in a teacher. Opening doors, inspiring and encouraging as a teacher Christian excels at so well. I always finish watching these videos with a smile on my face thinking anything is possible. Thank you as always sir.

Thank you christian. This is now my favourite chords to noodle with. As an old age new learner (poorly) this left hand progression ( I sometimes add A annd D) has really helped with left right hand independence strangely of course being in key C helps 🙂

Christian, you make learning improvisation fun! Also, your improvisations are melodic. Sometimes I go to listen to live jazz and something that I don't get is that some will play these very fast improvisations that seem to be all over the place...no patterns, no melodic sound that I could hum back...sounds like chaos even though I understand that they are using scales. I've always wondered why it's considered music.
@ChristianFuchsBlues
@ChristianFuchsBlues 3 года назад
Well, as they say, taste cannot be discussed. But my aim was here surely to show you that impro can be very melodic. And I didn't even invent it...

I wish I could give 100 thumbs up... sadly, if I had 100 thumbs, I wouldn't be playing a keyboard. I'd be one noting it on a flute. I watched it twice. first to pick up the diamonds you dropped for me to pick up. The 2nd time I poured a glass of Chardonnay and just closed my eyes. Happy Hurricane eve everyone.
@ChristianFuchsBlues
@ChristianFuchsBlues Год назад
Of course, you can give 100 thumbs up. You just have to create 100 RU-vid accounts. My real groupies do that! ;-)
