Programming Multi-Function Digital Inputs in IMPULSE®️ Series 5 AC Variable Frequency Drives
1. Introduction
This SOP provides a step-by-step guide to program the Multi-Function Digital Inputs (MFDI) in IMPULSE®️ Series 5 AC Variable Frequency Drives.
2. Procedure
2.1 Understand the MFDI
Understand that the MFDI terminals S1 through S8 are controlled in the programming of the drives in the H01 parameters.
2.2 Review the H01 Parameters
Review the H01 parameters. They are described in table 5-82 of the G+ & VG+ plus series 5 manual.
2.3 Understand the Factory Default Settings
Understand the factory default settings in the drives for the H1 parameters in the series 5 manual. These are described on Table 4-8.
3. Conclusion
