I dont think "harsh" is the right word. Perhaps "raw" is a better term. Im glad your covering this elephant in the room, and our favoritism for pushing air with lower frequencies, as well as adding a fair bit of presence to our tone. Frankly, we have heard it time and time again, and we should learn to accept it, guitars are a midrange instrument. But by all means, when playing alone and writing material in private, indulge those resonant frequencies and dial up that bite with your presence nob.
