I was so excited I had to drive down in person and watch the race. I drove through a rain storm in my Corvette to get there!!!!! Wasn't going to miss a chance to cheer on team Corvette racing!!!!!! Had a great time!!!! I missed you IMSA!!!! Looking forward to the Rolex 24 in January!!!!!!!
I've been a NASCAR fan since I was born in '94. Just stuck to NASCAR because I didn't understand the other motorsports. Once I graduated high school, I fell IN LOVE with IMSA, F1, and IndyCar. Thank you IMSA for uploading the full races! Everyone is excited to have motorsports back!
I can finally watch the race with announcers that are interesting and actually are entertaining to listen to. I have to hide all updates in order for the race to be a surprise still.
Not only that, but towards the end of the race NBCSN shows more commercials than racing anyways which pretty much makes it not worth watching. Glad I can rewatch it here!
"I have to hide all updates in order for the race to be a surprise still." Do I ever know that struggle. It doesn't help that some people *adamantly insist* on titling articles or videos about certain races like, "Bob Bobberson wins at Bobbersville Speedway!" and do it days or even weeks before the racing organization's media group can get the full race edited and uploaded. I knew how the 2016 Le Mans ended, and why, well ahead of getting to watch the race because of jerk behavior like that.
@Ed Grant while I can agree with you that they get over happy for things it makes it interesting. Its a bit unconventional, i just mark them up as being so excited to be at and commentate on the race. Totally get your point though
I have the nbc track pass for imsa so i can watch on my pc. No commercials they just keep it on the on track cameras. I turn off the nbc sound and open up imsa radio from their website so i can listen to john and jeremy AND watch the race with no commercials! It's amazing!
Seriously. All the nonsense lately, it's oddly comforting to hear those voices again. Reminds me of being back in the infield in January with my headset on watching all those magnificent cars going by. Nice little escape!
danar dalin there’s also the creventic 24hr series (not the most glamourous but some times great racing) it’s online for free with the same main commentator as imsa (good ol’ John) and formula Renault euro cup, as well as The Nurburgring nordschleife racing series
@@LETSTALKENTERTAINMENT You don't need Cable. I get all those except some Arca races with RU-vid TV. Between RU-vid TV, regular RU-vid, and Trackpass most everything is covered.
Just doesn't seem right to be working on my own race car in the evening without IMSA on in the background in the garage. Best. Sports. Cars. In. The. World. Thank you!
Agreed! If the SN bosses would care to watch both broadcast at least once, they'd realize they can make a lot more money with this team broadcasting. People would get excited, watch and follow the races instead of getting bored by the snoozefest they had on TV.
Interesting to watch GTLM. At the 24, the Corvette's (and the lone Ferrari) couldn't live with the Porsche's in a straight line, and none of them could live with the BMW's. Here with obviously a bit different BOP, while the BMW's were still the straight line kings, the Corvette's had no trouble staying with the Porsche's while the handling of the mid-engine C8.R's also saw a marked improvement. Oh, and thank you IMSA Official for posting these in your usual timely manner. Its great to have some real motor racing back in our lives.
IMSA...Please add MORE Corvette C8.R camera time to include interior video, we didn't get a lot during the 24 and this was slightly better. I love the IMSA TV/Radio Team of announcers over the NBCSN squad especially Shea Adams roaming the pits. I thing they are all good and I usually fall asleep listening to replays of the IMSA races, the engine sounds are just so much wonderful eargasm. Welcome Back IMSA!!
imsa international motorsports association you have made all these people really proud & very happy living in Daytona Beach Miami Florida by opening these beautiful lmp3 racing prototype machines bravo nicely done my dear boy well-done congratulations excellent work. folks!
Thanks for the upload. Glad to see IMSA back, seems like forever since I was at the 24hr of Daytona. And congrats to Corvette Racing on the 1st C8.R win and #100 in IMSA! 🇺🇸💪🏁🏆Great pass by Antonio Garcia! Looking forward to attending 12hr of Sebring in November rooting on Corvette 💛
Bad news: Seems like the audio engineers got a little rusty, and we can't hear the expert IMSA Radio commentary as well as usual. Good news: MORE REAL RACE CAR NOISES
Actually that is good news if you are a race fan, finally they allow the car noises to be more important than the commentators . That is what car racing is all about, isn't it. I have been asking for that for a long time. If I want to here only the commentators voice then I go to watch golf channel.
@@davidmizell940 Agreed. I'm a fan, but not as expert as a lot of you guys might be, and I get a lot out of the commentary. But that sound! Did they get better onboard mics for the Porsches, or is it just my new laptop's audio? I really dislike the sound of the GTLM Porsches on the *outside* (my preference, I know a lot of people love it), but that scream on the *inside* is fantastic!
Terrific commentary and coverage of the race! I don’t normally sit thru an entire race like this, because BORING; but this coverage and excellent commentary kept me fairly riveted👍. Well done!
Sure, and while LMP2 and GTE Am are going very strong right now, GTE Pro and the P1 field is a joke with BMW leaving and the frankly insane EoT rules. I hope the hypercars bring back some variance to it all, there's something very appealing about the top tier being hecking fast
Thank you guys for doing this, such a great mix of style and ability....if you could turn down the track sound a bit for your youtube vids, the commentary would be much easier to hear.....but over all, thanks for doing this series once again
Thanks for uploading guys. You rock. Could we turn up the audio balance ever so slightly so we can hear what the commentary is saying please? Don't get me wrong the cars sound awesome but pretty sure the guys at IMSA radio probably had something interesting to say. ;)
Great race and thanks for uploading as always, IMSA. Can we talk about the audio though? I watched a bit of this broadcast live and it was fine, for some reason it went full PC car here
Congrats to Mazda for the 1-2 finish and them Porsches are the best sounding cars in GTLM. Can't wait to hear them in the flesh. (Mazda and Porsche fan) 😁
Awesome coverage thank you so much! Congrats to the whole team for getting this done and out in such tough conditions! Could I just suggest someone monitors the volume levels when the next race goes out? Commentators are drowned out by the engine sound for much of this video and it's a shame not to hear them.
Agreed with that. At some point, I found it difficult to hear RSL's staff comments. On the other hand, this race cheered me up after Ferrari's F-1 disaster today at Styrian GP. The droughts of racing are only cured with more racing, fellas!
