Great interview but please bring some sound isolation or something next time.. I hear way too much background noise and a slight echo. This kinda brings down overall production value but other than that good job
Imtiaz sees life through different peoples’ perspective, makes a wonderful collage of thoughts in the form of a movie and presents to the audience! He is a genius indeed!
imtiazali is genius. his films r not very much recognized at the time of released. but they become classics afterwards. jab we met, rockstar became classics. tamasha, highway r in the line
Not sure why the tag genius always used to refer a work that's not appreciated in current times. He is appreciated in current era and he's successful so lets say he's still a genius
Why do this interview at Starbucks instead of a studio? There is probably remuneration from the restaurant or the Chopras have shares in the company. The sound quality is so poor...you should get some pointers from Niranjan whose show has very good sound even though he films outside a studio.
All your interviews are a pleasure to hear Anupama. You ask such genuine questions that a general person would ask if he or she meets a director like imtiaz. Thank you and keep it up❤. An admirer of both of you😊.
#imtiazali is my great inspiration as i also want to tell a story that i have seen through my mind. this man gives me great engird to go to do what you really want to do in life. thanks for making rockstar which changed my life then. i have seen it lot lot lot of time. wow what a movie great great deep respect to you . sir i am from nepal now in mumbai to follow my dreams
Great interview ... Sound quality is an issue but people don't understand its way easier to shoot in a controlled environment compare to actual location ... Though the end is pretty abrupt could have been smoother...
I wanted to personally thank you.The movie tamasha changed my life since 27th Nov 2015. Trust me ved as kid and the way you have shown all about his imagination that happens right from the classroom to the school premises of Ved, I can content with it.
You asked director to have clarity about story.Sorry Imtiyaz, with your own movie , may be u r clear in your head, but doesn't reflect in direction. You confuse me in Highway and I was like "where the hell is it going?
the production is weak. the sound management is very bad. this conversation in a studio would be much better or at least in a better setting. after the anupama chopra show this seems a bit a downfall. but the idea is good and it will work if they could just fix the problems.
This film fraternity ppl hv their own bluff. At 21yrs that too in Mumbai he got a chance to direct a non-fiction, too much yaar. At 17 say he cleared his 10th exam, add another 5yrs for grads & say atleast a year more fr thr Xavier’s course, so he is already 23yrs & then the altu-faltu jobs pe minimum 2yrs. So what Intiaz is saying is at 25 yrs wt 2years of experience he got a tv show wt celebrity to direct. #unrealbluff
Rockstar was shit. I loved all your other movies except Rockstar. You have a unique style, I like dialogues of your movies. I can identify your movies just hearing dialogues.
It was a beautiful movie. Although, it's true that when I first watched it I didn't like it at all but when I watched it again, it touched a chord. The love , the pain, the frustration was so real.
karan johar and imitaz ali hunting for almost what both screens as much same we highly doubt both visit same consultant for their treatment either both takes same pill delivering as much same and audience either to run out from the place or run from the crowd is that u make mad or making to do business with rave party as people flamed with same and suffocation of their search and where to vomit it comes to screens and we look up each face is that i visited physcopath consultant or that those who enouh reading almost physcatrist clubs recent business this two director doing such things often just relate both of the films
