I love how the Sun blazing heat plot was just used as an excuse to justify creating clones of dead husbands cause you don't like the original one.

So basically, if i got this right - The real Adam died after struggling for the whole duration of the film - Clone Adam took his place, then Rinna (true or clone form?) came along with him "after resurrecting?" - With the money received from true Adam's death, they will both replace the kids because they are not smart enough What a cruel, depressing and meaningless ending for a film, it even beats Cloverfield's one

It's funny how the story is about the heat caused by the sun to the point humans can't even go out, and yet a a car tire isn't melting, and by any means, any engines would heat up pretty quick under the "condition" I know it's a movie, but they would have at least made it a bit more realistic by making humans unable to use transportation due to the heat

I thought the "pain" in his heart was emotional pain because he had not been taking the Lithium-X(treme!) and was not physical pain. So, why would he still be dying if there isn't actually anything wrong with his heart?

Well, it figures that people unsatisfied with their partners and kids would replace them with better upgrades. We do this all the time with our cars, computers, phones, whatever. We live in a throwaway society, so I guess when we reach that point, people can be obsolete as well.

WoW! My kids n I wld be living in a bunker somewhere with all the other outcasts that refuse to live like this. I actually saw this movie after the first time I watched the recap. It always amazes me at how great some recap channels are at providing the full story and at the same time there’s still so much more to see.

He left out one thing, the ending of the movie alludes to the idea that real Adam prior to his death uploaded his consciousness to the virtual world with like a random piece of tech turning on playing a song that was relevant throughout the movie.

The intense heat from the sun isn't important in the plot! You can replace it with a freezing earth or an earth in nuclear pollution and the plot will still work :D

I wasn't expecting someone to make a whole movie about SCP-001 When Day Breaks but here we are.

I'm a huge fan of your channel. The movies you recap are great. I really enjoy being able to understand an entire movie in 15-20 mins. While also closing language barriers with your lovey NPR type voice over narration really helps me. I'm hearing impaired from years of being a stagehand. Some lower and mid frequencies are lost to me forever. I have to use subtitles to watch anything. But your pitch, tone, and through annunciations are ideal for me, no subtitles needed for you. You've dialed everything in perfectly! I mean everything! The editing, your EQ, your pace. 💯. I even love the soft intro you have. If I might ask for a request. It's kinda old, a long slow burn movie. So a your version of it would be ideal. The movie I'm requesting is called GATTACA. It came out in the early 00's. Jude Law, Uma Thurman, and many other well known actors. This movie was way ahead of it's time. It seemed like total BS when I was a teen. Now, not so much. TIA, HNY! Oh and RTR! P.S. I’ve watched so many movies 🍿 todays it’s ridiculous i oddly like watching the recaps because I come upon so many new movies 🎥

The plot seems to be about the value of others in familial and romantic relationships. Is there something precious in the intangible aspect of others or can we be satisfied with our wants being met? Like, if you need a boost, would you be okay if was just a simulation (relatively safe) and not a person (uncontrollable, communication barriers, will) giving you positive feedback? Are tech/easier fixes for emotional needs going to make humans less valuable in a day-to-day way?

If the outside world has become too hot then why didn't Adams hand be burnt to a crisp because he's clearly been in the sun for a while if its that bright and maybe the "burning" he's feeling is just the normal heat from the sun and the world isnt actually toxic anymore
