Ulysses is great to listen to but also to watch. The way he plays those brushes is great showmanship.

Don't see how those people can just sit there motionless the way those dudes are grooving and swinging that tune. I'd have been snapping and stomping and yeah-ing those cats on...like I am as I watch the video...LOL. Superb playing!

Shades of Oscar, Ahmad, Monk, and Ramsey. Great rhythm section trio work will always be the very basic cornerstone of jazz.

@@cjgreen4331 Check out, Ahmad Jamal Live At The Pershing and Ramsey Lewis, The Ramsey Lewis Trio, Live At The Bohemian Gardens. These are two excellent performances, that will bring you up to speed, on some of the greatest jazz trio work, by two of the greatest pianists available.
