As a people we need more than intellect to get to the promise! I appreciate both of the platforms that is used to keep people who are interested informed. The church use to be the backbone of the black community now that has changed. The church is always saying to pray but our community needs more than that. We need more people who are interested in imparting good values in our community. Thank you both for your time and conversation.

I love Kirby. Hearing the inspiration behind the song Kirby was singing reminded me of when I was little I would hear my grandma singing while cooking Pray for Me by Rev Cleophus. It took me back to when I would go to church and hear the deacons singing Blind Willie Johnson song Let the lighthouse shine on me and Sister Terrell song Slow Down Chariot. Down here in the south that tradition is still lives on within us.

As a Caribbean-American I'm struggling to reconcile the lack of attention being paid to what's transpiring in Sudan with the high beam focus on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Which has a long history, but surely not even half as long as Arab-Islamic incursion into Africa? The Genocidal advance of Arabs who murder African men, and rape African women to breed their Arabicised Mohammedan jihadists. The source of the majority of conflicts in inner-Africa and from coast to coast. So forgive me if I sometimes feel like the enemy of my enemy is my friend; or if my sense of loss for the children on the brink of starvation and death from disease in Sudan feels more acute than what I feel for Palestinian children. Who is advocating to end the delivery of US weaponry to the Saudis and the UAE?

Anyone who loves their community will not disturb it. Especially loud music and disruptive behavior. Shooting a gun in broad day light or at night for no reason is crazy!
