I can't tell you how much I loved this as a kid. The train level drove me on the verge of madness due to the time limit and the robot haunted me for years. I always liked running around trying to find as much as I could. This has a special place in my heart.
I loved this game as a kid. I'm from Belgium so English isn't my first language, which didn't help solving those very conveluded puzzlels. I did really like the atmosphere, the worldbuilding and the hint of stealth and dialogue that reminded me somewhat of Metal Gear Solid. ICB isn't a good game at all but I still had a blast with it back then. Even though I used a walkthrough for most of it :D
Man, you have such a great review style - I came for this one because it was short and concise but also watched the RE3R review. You have a knack for explaining the good, bad & the ugly.... It's too bad you don't seem to be doing them anymore.
This is by the guys that did the Broken Sword series and the Steel Sky series. I never heard anyone ever mention it or talk about it so i figured i'd see what it was all about. Unfortunate it doesn't quite stick the landing. Thanks for the review!
I finally beat this game after a long time. It has a cool story, but the controls are questionable. I dont know whether one finds the fixed camera charming or outdated. But it is something
Wow never heard of this one. Guess I dodged a bullet there, because this looks like the kind of thing I would've been tricked into renting when it came out. The aesthetic looks really cool, I love how well a lot of the games in this style hold up, like the original RE trilogy. It's really cool finding a game I've never heard of, watching so many reviewers of obscure games. Even if it's a rubbish game :) the quality of your videos are fantastic, it's amazing how you sum up so much, so succinctly. I appreciate having shorter, full, we'll paced reviews amidst all the longer videos I watch
Thanks! I bought this game without knowing much about it beforehand, other than seeing a few screenshots. I was hoping for an Resident Evil kind of thing, but with a spy/stealth twist. And what I got was... Well, not that!
I remember this game getting amazing reviews in magazines when I was a kid, like 8 or 9s out of 10. Never played it, but I thought I'd re-look it up because of that..
Im traumatised by this game 😅. I waited half a year as a Kid until i was old enough to rent it. And when i did, i was unable to solve it at a point. So im looking walk through of this later to get my late redemption.😂
