Spurs were a coach firm and at most 3coaches went never on trains We had fucked 2000 Sunderland at ours.Sunderland continually attacked us as revenge we put up a good fight but Sunderland was too much....and no we didn't go into their end and we were run on pitch....in those days Sunderland and other NE clubs were highly rated and there was a fear factor about NE

It was 150 max and I doubt anyone other than Spurs wld have got to the terracing with a very good and massive Sunderland mob blocking Spurs to get to the terracing. We blasted past your mob and won that uphill fight. When we got on the terrace we were in very poor position IE you were above hence went onto the pitch. As in all fights someone wins and someone loses this one you won. Contrast this with your performance at our end of 77.You lot were being hospitalised en mass before game. Got battered in the away end never fighting back and after the game lying face down again never fighting back. Btw there were 2000 Sunderland that that got mullered...hope you can see the difference between us....yes some Spurs got a dig that day as did yours that day at Roker...but unlike your 2000 at ours no one suffered getting kicked to the ground without a fight because your mates scattered. Noone except WH would fight us back then. If we had come to Roker with bigger numbers than 150=different story

Accurate description, except Spurs had no choice but to go on pitch and not for their safety....had we got to the top of the Roker you would not dislodge and it wld be different 0:22 Spurs blasted past you on the stairs and got onto the terracing which was a huge effort and result for us...as soon as we got on the terracing you followed and you were above us....fighting uphill ...we won one fight fighting uphill on the stairs and a second uphill battle was beyond us At most we were 150and out numbered against a very good Sunderland firm. For me we lost fighting very well. Whilst we lost I think this was one of our best ever performances. Robbins our leader had his nose broken steaming your lot on the stairs and there were many many blows exchanged on both sides. This was a rare firm v firm battle, rather than some wankers just running leaving their pals to be battered.

I can remember forest coming onto hulls end in 76 it was billy bremners debut for the tigers.There must have been 60 or 70 forest fans and they got to the top of the stand and just started hitting anyone and everyone it was chaos that day.

@@paulsnowdon5525 I went to Roker Park with Liverpool by coach in November 1976. There was no trouble at all. No sensible away fans would have dreamt going in the home end at Roker park looking for trouble. I just remember being in a place called Seaburn.
