It's great to see Hillman's work spread online! And especially this talk. Unsure of internet ethics here, but this video is the cassette I ripped and the specific cassette cover I scanned/digitally made. You're welcome to spread this talk on your channel, but I'd appreciate it if the video image was at least altered in a way that's your own and differnitiated from my uploads of this conference, and for archival integrity, if the name of Hillman's talk was presented accurately (although I understand that "Prolegomena" isn't the most descriptive of titles).

I’ve read Hillman on the recommendation of Thomas Moore. I had no way to know while reading him that there was this cutting, ribald streak in him. And yet, even though listening to him and his inflection, he’s not simplifying any issue. He doesn’t compare and contrast to make points. He’s up in the clouds with mythological allusions or under the Earth at times; he’s hard to follow. I might need to try this again at a later date. I’m sure he’s making many valid points here, but I would struggle to even try to paraphrase them.

To be fair, he’s speaking to an audience of his colleagues so this talk is full of word play and esoteric references. On this topic you might seek out his Pink Madness lecture for more clarity. I love the humour and agility on display in this talk. He’s tap dancing up there.
