In Bruges is not a film that could have been set anywhere else. It is a setting that is baked into every aspect of this movie and in this video, I aim to untangle all the different ways it can be interpreted.
Some scenes from the film are distorted to get around RU-vid’s content ID system. I’m not currently sure if there is a better way to resolve this, but this is my solution for now. If a scene looks too zoomed in, or its cut weirdly and doesn’t match with what I’m saying, this is likely why. I have tried to minimise these edits as much as possible and still have the video be viewable.
