I'm probably just going to end up cutting the AC clutch connector off the old harness and splice it into my tans harness. I've already had to cut the transmission connector off the 3V harness anyway. At this point its just scrap wire.
I'm guessing you're using "generic" harness ends and splicing in your wiring. i.e. trans, inline, pedal etc. Specific to all Gen's?? Nice work either way! 👍
It’s all gen 1 specific essentially. Where I source the the connectors is actually the same company that ford does when making repair pig tails to sell
If the place that you got the Gen 1 Coyote from gave you all the harnesses, (body, engine and transmission), along with the ECU for the Coyote, do you still need the harness like you have made? My Gen 1 will be going into a 2007 S197 that had the 3V and the 3650 trans. I will be using the MT82 that comes with the engine though🙏 that it doesn't crap out. I will keep the 3650 as back up.
To make things really easy on yourself, Yes, you need this harness, but you would still use the transmission and engine harness from the donor vehicle.
@@Adrianfrmda432 yeah actually I’ve had a few do this including the guys over at Power By The Hour swap a 13-14 5.8 into an 07 GT500 Even had a guy run his whipped 3V with a Coyote ECU using GT500 engine harnesses etc.
@@Adrianfrmda432 yes plug and play. Gages work over CAN bus and hard wired like factory. 100% plug and play if its a 07-10. 05-06 there’s one or two wires the end user has to do but all works the same. Www.make-it-modular.com
