Thanks for informative video on Anti-defection. In the Karnataka case, it can be seen that defecting members are trying loopholes (resigning first before whip issued by the party) to avoid disqualification. Therefore there is need to strengthen anti-defection law further to plug such loopholes.

this is very dangerous to democracy of india and all parties facing this problem . when a member defection from one to another party disqualify immediately from house ,so ensure that they can go again election and they contest and win their respective party but now day trend is detection took place from opposition party to ruling party . this is phenomena is danger to democracy of india example telanga nearly 14 MLA are defection from congress to TRS and they merge clp into trs party how it is possible . congress is national party but trs is a local party this type of tactics going this shame thing to nation
