What a shit box ,ok I've owned Toyota's all my life from the real fj40 right up till a few years ago, use them how thay were first designed to be use off road work ect , for the price you pay for them now$$$$$$$$ ,then have to modify it $$$$$$$$$$ to go off road is a joke ,why Toyota keeps lowering a 4x4 is beyond me even calling it a 4x4 ,it's a city car now, school pick vehicle
Great presentation I was so disappointed to see the full back door as I have a 200 series and use my tail gate every day as a work bench, seat, table and cant help but think my beloved 4x4 has gone city woke to the point I cancelled my order
Very good walk-through. Thanks. Looks like you have some hard work ahead to design test and get approval for the mods required for the serious LC300 owner...
Interesting video on the 300. Pity the delivery from Toyota will be years away for a lot of customers due to lack of manufacturing capacity. Still it gives time for development of the accessories and modifications.
Great work there Derek , have mine on order so will be dropping in for some upgrades as they become available. At some point an assessment on wheel upgrades and tyre sizes would be of interest for your subscribers I am sure !
No bonnet scoop ????? Cmon Toyota, please wake up. I love my 200 series , the only design fault is no bonnet scoop... very disappointed to see the same fault on the new model.
Great video. Question, will KDSS make GVM upgrades more complex on the GR Sport ? I was also told by Toyota that the GR Sport is not rated for a winch because of the extra weight on the front axle, this seems to be crazy for an offroad focused model - any thoughts?
Hello. Thanks for great information LC200 & LC300 are they different on rear chassis structure? The question is can I put LC200 Old (Brink tow bar ) to LC300 ??? Much appreciated
Hi Derek good video I am just about to order a bullbar with my LC 300 GR but I am struggling to get any information on how much lentgh it adds to the 4950 standard vehicle. I have a garage with only 5200mm space do you know the length of the vehicle with the bull bar fitted.
Whats interesting it seems Ford and ARB with the new ranger will be ready to go when its released. Why has Toyota and after market providers not been able to be ready with these upgrades as the cars arrive. Sounds like poor planning to me.
Hi Carl. When there is changes from model to model underneath, any GVM and GCM process starts from scratch. The Ranger has not changed fundamentally for a while. However when the new one comes out early next year, we expect we will have to go through the lengthy process again with R and D of the conversions.
Lets ad to that, small tire size, no diff locks for low spec vehicle, poor or avarega approach/departure/break over angle & clearence, gas filter enables a bigger size spare tire, less space in interior comparing to LC200, ...
You missed an important part of the car, the space available from the second row to the back. Terrible setup & inefficient availability of space as the second row seats do NOT fold away in to the floor of the car to create a flat floor. 🤦♂️🤦♂️
