Thank you for this! We are planning our first ever Disney cruise on the Fantasy in December. I know I will refer to this video many times as we prepare and plan.
Love Castaway. We have done the 5K both times we have been. I will probably do it again if I get to go back again. We did once on land and once on the ship. It was much better on the ship. We like to sit over between the two family beaches so we can enjoy both. I have never been without children so I have not seen the Adult beach yet. Another vlogger showed the bike path and you can bike to lookout overlooking Castaway. That looked neat to try.

Would love to try the snorkeling and see starfish 😍 Side note: I remember in one vlog you mentioned you don't like sand much on you after. Just get a travel size baby powder to sprinkle on the skin after and it brushes the sand right off 😉
Hey Michael, I went on a Disney Cruise about 12 years and went to Castaway Key but I noticed in your vlog I did Not see the Pirates of the Caribbean ship. Was it still there? It was positioned where you could see it when we docked & from the family beaches. Just sitting out in the ocean looking so Disney! TY. Alisa
Hi Michael... On your 1st cruise with your family your grandmother was in a wheelchair. How was that experience with her wheelchair getting off at Castaway Cay? Also just general getting around on the ship with someone in a wheelchair. My mom would be in a wheelchair the majority of the time and just wondered what your thoughts are. Thanks Michael! 🌊💖🌊💖🌊💖
Good question! We found it was extremely easy and convenient, from the shuttles to just walking around on the sidewalks she never had to worry. They also have special wheelchairs that are meant for the sand, those were especially helpful as well. Let me know if you have any other questions

As a first time Disney cruise can I ask a strange question about the spiral document book you get? I've only received one but the other person going with me who lives at a different address hasn't got one. Did you & David both have one each? Or just one copy for both of you that you took to port?
