in-Ear Fetish Review \\ FiiO FH9 IEM 

I have these for few months now... properly burnt, foam tips, green tips and a bit of EQ these have unbelievable sound. The bass is hidden on these but if you give it a push with the right EQ settings they will show you their best mod. Very clean sound with ton of details and extremely powerful, soft and deep bass. I cant get enough of them, using them every day.

This is a hidden gem which gets little attention. It’s got huge soundstage and non-fatiguing details.

I have been using my FH7 for a few months. In the beginning, they sounded detailed but tiny and the bass felt suppressed but after weeks of continuous use, the sound has matured in an unimaginable way. They sound amazing now and I have to find reasons to keep listening. I'm using the neutral filter (black ones) with the black/red ear tips. The sound is detailed, sweet, and not harsh and I listen to them for hours without fatigue. BTW, I didn't feel the need to use EQ with them because everything sounded accurate already. I tried EQ but kept coming back to the sound with no EQ. Some people have pointed out that FH7 is harsh and sometimes metallic, lacking the sweetness and warmth that make music more enjoyable. That could be because they are using the supplied cable with it, which isn't the best combo to use with capable IEMs like FH7 or FH9. I purchased Fiio's flagship cable, the gold/silver/copper braided cable, model LC-RE Pro and it makes a big difference in every aspect of the sound. The sound is smooth, sweet, and warm while remaining amazingly detailed and more organic and smoother highs. I was looking at the FH9 but the price was steep, and I got my FH7 for 299.99 only which was an amazing deal and spent about 190 on upgrading the cable which turned out to be the most important thing in bringing the best out of the FH7.

Great review - how how about the FiiO FD7/FDX next? (exact same IEM except the FDX has more expensive gold trimmings - i.e. just for show). It is FiiO’s flagship purely dynamic IEM.

Did you already try the olina se one z? Kinda intrested in ur opinion bout that set.

You still have your FH9 ? what is your opinion today? should you recommend me buy the Fh9 or expend less and buy the new Dunu Davinci ?

Was the cut at 5:20 intentional? You started saying you were listening to something, then it cut and suddenly you're in the middle of a metaphor (I think) about 2 Hondas.

These things sound fantastic coming out of a warm Shanling DAP. M6 Ultra, in my case. I can't rule out endgame for that setup.

So around this budget is the IKKO Asgard OH5. I love love love the OH10. I'm wondering which is more worth it?

I Bought The FH9 A Month Ago Aswell As A BTR7 And Im Overall Impressed With The Sound And Build Of Both. The FH9 Replacement Cable Costs £130 On Its Own So Im Careful With It. These Were Big Purchases For Me.👍Z

… I just got these. LoVe them. I’ve bought and returned FH7S, FD5, Kato, Variations, AFUL P8, others I can’t remember. I’m now down to these FH9’s, and my beloved OH10 . I listen to FH9 during the day, and OH10 at night.

How long do burn in and at what volume. I have never done a burn in on my iems

These are not closed iem's. These are semi-open so those grills are actually vents

The higher mids are a little too colored to my taste, but ohh boy, this gem is fun.
