I have been a registered child care provider for over 10 years and have been working with children 25 years total. I can tell you are organized and have a lot of great tips this is great quality content look forward to following you 😀
My daycare is currently full through til 2022 so fortunately I don’t have to worry about daycare interviews with families during Covid. The way I like to facilitate my interviews is to greet the families, show them around the daycare including the outdoor space and then sit down to talk. I go over my daycare contract, my policies and procedures etc. Next I go over frequently asked questions such as what my child eat? What are your hours? How do you discipline etc. etc. I tell them when I’m finished if they have any further questions they can ask me at that time. Usually there are no further questions because I have already addressed all of them. This method Helps things run efficiently and effectively. :)
Im trying to do the same as you. about the interviews, also I like the way you have everything so organized. I'm just starting out and I'm trying to find ways to put my daycare in the scene but I have no calls or interviews.
Love it ! I do have a question I’m going to be a new mom what age group do you suggest working with since I will have my hands full with my baby due in 2 months??
At what point will you bring them to your home? They like you and want to start but to physically see the premises MAY be a deal breaker. BUT pre Covid I do like the idea of a screening because you’ll be allowing families in your home that may not enroll so it cuts down on the traffic
