I was extremely fortunate to meet Dai Bradley yesterday after my stay in Barnsley for a week while visiting my partners mother and a very extensive tour of the film locations of Kes. Dai is a very down to earth gentleman who kindly gave up his time to meet and talk with me. In my opinion it's the best British movie of all time. Its a memory I shall cherish for the rest of my life. Dai, if you are reading this, thank you so much.
Great to hear. He’s a lovely gent and makes time for everyone. He’s visiting us again next week so we are heading out for lunch and I’m sure we’ll get on about Kes again. Definitely agreed on the best British movie. Being a falconer it’s amazing that so long after it’s release I still get into conversations with people who still love the film, I honestly don’t think any other film ever has had such a lasting effect
@@riversidefalconryandbushcraft Thank you for your reply. All birds are beautiful in my eyes, but birds of prey are on another level. Effortless hunters with patience looking for prey. Dai Bradley played a character in the film Zulu Dawn, of the 24th of foot. It later became the Royal Regiment of Wales, my Regiment. If you remember, please give my thanks to Dai for giving his time to chat and hope he liked the drawing of the kestrel that my daughter had drawn for him. Thank you and take care. I will subscribe to your channel.
