Red Wings captain Henrik Zetterberg is honored for playing in his 1,000th NHL game, which coincides with the closing of the Joe -- the only arena he's called home during his career.
1000th game and at the last game at the Joe and he gets a goal and the win. Can't get any better than that. Stanley Cup winner, Con Smythe winner, Olympic Gold and Olympic Silver medals, World Championship Gold medal, 960 NHL points, 120 playoff points on 137 playoff games. If that's not hall of fame material then idk what is.
Hell of a player with one hell of a career and all with the wings…that’s awesome. He joins some pretty big names to do so. You won’t see many players any longer spend their entire careers with one team. That’s dedication 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I had the honor of meeting Henrik Zetterberg just a few weeks ago at the Alley Challenge Golf outing in Grand Blanc, Mi. Remarkable guy. Very humble as well.
Congratulations Hank!!! We have nothing but admiration and respect for you sir and thank you for your unrelenting drive and commitment to this amazing organization!! Here's to many more, keep grinding Hank and Thank You!!
Z is a well knowd person and a milestone in hockey in Sweden ..not to mentionin his home town .. You a keebord warrior as 65 mill more in USA ..just dont know shit
Crosby and Malkin have had much more success then zetterberg and datsyuk. I doubt it's them. I still remember red wings fans saying they'd have better careers then Geno and Sid. 😂😂😂 Noticed alot of empty seats now that the red wings are Terrible now. LMAO
