This is a superb cover, but I was listening to it on repeat and as a result, I was halfway through changing my smoke detector's battery before I realized it wasn't mine with a low battery, lol
Listening to this again and just continue to be super impressed at how you handle that shift and sort of vague bridge/interlude between the two parts of the song, especially on acoustic without anyone else to support a solo. C&C do a lot of that and man, it can sometimes be hard to remember the melody reasonably accurately without the whole band doing their thing, much less do it all by yourself, and you nail it.
For long have I searched for a "good" acoustic cover of this song. Well seems like that search is finally over. The raw emotion in that last segment of the song really feels like going home. The very last enemy stronghold is broken, we are now sure that this time around the long hard battle is won and we are coming home.

This was freaking incredible!! What i love about your covers is that you actually get into the raw emotion of the song and are willing to strain your voice like Claudio. So many other people covering them have pretty voices, but they don’t push themselves to evoke the edgier aspects of the vocals and so lose part of what makes the songs great. cheers x3 for giving it 100%!

You absolutely kill this! Absolutely awesome, these are not easy to do, especially as people have said -- acoustic and at the same time -- and your voice is gorgeous anyway but the commitment to not always doing it "prettily" absolutely makes it.
Holy shit...this is sick! This was my fav band back in HS in the early 2000's. I kinda forgot about Coheed and then started rediscovering them a few days ago. This video came up on my recommended :)
